Breakfast Biscuits. Okay !
It's not the variety one. It was only chocolate and vanilla. I like the taste and cookie size , the texture is wonderful. But just give me what I supposely check off. I will check to see if it was my error. But I will order again.

Just what I wanted
I was looking for something that was a quick bite before exercising, when I was hungry but didn't want to eat much. Fits the bill perfectly. Cookie part is delicious (can't quite figure out what the taste reminds me of) and the chocolate is yummy.

Overly dry - good idea but need beverage just to eat one.
Beware. Way too dry. Tasty idea. But. You’ll need a beverage just to eat one cookie. The filling is dry and pasty. Can’t swallow one without milk. These biscuits really are super dry and with the dry paste filling, as soon as you take one bite, it causes massive “dry-ificarion”. As soon as you take a bite you’ll feel the need for liquid to help chew and swallow. It’s a tasty biscuit and has healthy protein but the dryness is simply overwhelming and not appealing to me whatsoever. It tastes great with a cup of your fave kind of milk. So that lets it keep 2-3 stars. But it definitely must lose 2-3 stars for causing such dry mouth you can barely finish chewing a whole one. I have ADHD and some sensory preferences that might be more bespoke considerations. However as a broad contrast to understand - I have zero problem eating a typical peanut butter jelly sandwich, which tends to be on the dry side if it has more PB or less J. Milk pairs well with PBJ but I don’t require milk for PBJ. But these biscuits are nearly impossible to eat alone without a beverage to wash it down so it doesn’t work for a great snack on the go for me. Not a great value for the money for THIS product but there’s a better option for me… Alternate product from same maker - try the Olyra fruit cookies instead. They have some preprinted and low carb and they taste great and are not overly dry like this biscuit is. Love those.

Way More than a breakfast biscuit…
If you’re looking for a sweet snack with health in mind look no further! These are the Keebleresque milanos of chocolate filled cookies, aka breakfast biscuits! I love them!

Mislabelled bulk box, but great item!
5 stars for the item. Note: my box was unfortunately mislabelled (outside says hazelnut, inside is the variety pack). I don’t know if this was a one off situation, or if I’m good to order another box to get the one I really want. Amazon did resolve this issue with me for the box I received, so I can’t complain too much- but maybe open the bulk box as soon as it arrives if your heart is set on a specific flavor. The interior boxes were clearly labelled so it’s not a guessing game or a hazard per se. :) When these first popped up in stores, I was a bit skeptical- having tried a lot of the “healthy breakfast” items. Sometimes these types of items basically taste like cardboard. Sometimes they’re not as healthy as they appear. But these breakfast bars are good! The nutrition info, compared to the cereal I normally eat was at least a little healthier (more protein, lower sugar). They are made with whole grains- spelt, lupine, barley, and oat), so you get the benefit of fiber (there’s some prebiotic inulin and flax in here too). Some people can be a bit sensitive to spelt, lupine, and inulin- something to be aware of esp if you’re someone who has had to know what FODMAP stands for at some point (lol). What are they like - crunchy/crumbly (not chewy), icing reminds me of the texture of like an orea double-stuffed cookie. I’ve personally tried 3 flavors, the hazelnut is my favorite. I like that they’re clearly labelled with extra dietary info, vegan, dairy free & kosher (the one I can’t eat is kosher dairy). The packaging is ancient greek inspired and charming. Branding is strong and consistent. I’m hoping the price point will come down at some point, but for now for a quick breakfast or healthy snack option (even a nice desert alternative) these are feeling like a nice option. I will definitely buy again, but may opt to have them from in store next time!
