Joyoldelf Cool Black Foil Poker Playing Cards, Waterproof Deck of Cards with Gift Box, Use for Party and Game

I started collecting playing cards based on their unique printing, and this deck is one of the best! First of all, It's produced on durable, waterproof all-black plastic. All of the artwork on each and every card has etched black foil accents, which looks really cool when you look at the cards. A room with more lighting is better to catch all of the intricate details! People gave this deck a low rating because it's hard to see the cards when you are using them to play card games. To me, the black plastic with black etched foil artwork is the appeal of the deck. This same company does produce similar decks where the etched foil is printed in different colors, so you can see the artwork easier. All in all, this family of decks is very affordable and cool!

These cards are beautiful and easy to use and shuffle. I got 2 decks and we used them for a game that requires both. They're not heavy, so it's easy to hold many of them in your hand. They're a standard size, so it's easy to use them when you're used to standard cards. The material is different than standard poker/solitaire cards, but that only matters if you want it to. If I have a critique of this deck, it's that the cards are "slippery" so it's easy to deal extra cards, haha. My boyfriend and I adore these cards! Takes a smidge of getting used to, but they're beautiful, fun, and work just as good as any other poker/solitaire cards!

I took up throwing a few months ago, and I’ve been searching for cards that feel good, rigid enough to fly well, and are durable. So far these cards have held up better than the Plastic Hoyle, or Bicycle Prestige cards (which tend to chip and split when they hit something hard). Paper cards (like Bicycle limited editions ex: Cybernetic or Karnival) feel good, and wear well, but get banged up very quickly. The only downside (if it is one) is that they are a touch smaller than “regulation” poker cards, so a slight adjustment in throw is needed. A couple hundred throws with the same 12 cards and no noticeable damage yet. If you’re looking for good throwers, these work great.

These are hard to read!!! These cards solve the cheating problem. If you are like me and don’t play cards all that often, and don’t typically have people watching, then the ones with gold ingrained etchings may be for you. I didn’t quite understand what I was buying which is on me. These cards are very hard to make out, and easy to conceal, which in any truly competitive game (especially when you have multiple people watching) is absolutely critical!!! These cards are for the pros. I personally wish I got the ones that I could see better, but perhaps, after a few good games of poker when my my party’s guests are unable to send a subtle signal to the person they came with because of how difficult they are to read from any given angle but your own, then these cards will quickly become worth their weight in gold. Although they don’t don’t necessarily soot my needs yet... perhaps in a future game they might be worth more than a game of 10k of poker or whatever on the line. These are extremely high quality! I will definitely not return because they have a purpose and demonstrate a unique and new fairer perspective on any card game. (Many other purchasable card sets that can be be purchased my present the same quality... idk) I’ve been cheated on cards many times, even if the crowd didn’t mean it, these are the private screen protectors of many card games just like a privacy glass on your phone if that is something important to you for whatever reason. When you have 5k-30k on the line, (there is no room for anything from perfection). :)

I really like these cards, I've not had a fully waterproof deck before. This is 100% waterproof. I played some cards with some fiends at a bar and found they are also easy to clean from having beer spilled on them as well. I'm not removing any stars, as the look on these is so unique, but at the right angle with light over you shoulder just right you absolutely cannot read these cards. I found myself having to move my head around for just the right light to read them, but the cool look and feel of these is worth it, just making a note.

It was the perfect color and shine to make a 52 reasons why I love you cards for my husband! Gave us extra room to even play with the cards! Love them!

They are absolutely beautiful. They feel great in your hand and shuffle perfectly. The deck has a nice weight to it and the cards themselves don't feel cheap or low-quality. Very happy with them. Especially with this delightful surprise card that I didn't know was in there until it flew out while I was shuffling.

The quality of the cards are actually impressive. I've been misusing what I assume to be the instructions card for a thin scraper/pusher. Despite the constant abuse that the cards were never intended for other playing card fell apart in a few weeks) this one hasn't even lost it's rigidity at all, I could wash it and shuffle it back into the deck and no one would be able to tell beyond a few creases in the card that would probably straighten if I really wanted to. No fraying on the edges, or fading of the actual colour though
