Cryptic Killers SUSPICION Card Game, 2-7 Players, Detective Arrest Strategy, 14+, Family Game Night

Great little card game and at a bargain price! It's a fairly simple game to play once you've learned the rules and played a couple of practice rounds. I've not tried playing this with 2 people just yet, but with a group of 4+ it's a lot of fun. The packaging states the game takes between 5 to 15 minutes to play but more often than not the games do last much longer, though short games can happen too. Would highly recommend for people who enjoy card games like exploding kittens

I popped this card game in my partners Christmas stocking as we like to play card games when travelling or if we have friends round. This game comes in a good sized (small) box making it easily portable. The cards are made from a quality plastic coated material and are clear and attractive for game play. There is an instruction leaflet which sounds very complicated as you are reading through it! There is also a QR code both on the box and on the leaflet which is supposed to show you a game and alternative ways to play with the cards but they didn’t work. However, I did manage to get onto the website (by typing the address in see the search bar) and see the other rules/options for play. We decided to try the ‘No bluff’ game, which is easier to pick up and explain to other (young teenager) participants. We played a few games of ‘Suspicion’ with friends on our Boxing Day get together and it was good fun, for a while, pretty quick games, but a bit repetitive after a few goes, so we moved onto our other (go to) card games namely Monopoly deal and Mantis! Overall, an interesting addition to our card game collection which will likely be played occasionally but probably won’t become a favourite. Priced about right for a card game of this nature.

Bought this as enjoy the case files but I didn’t take to it. It is a good idea but just not for me.

It w as for my granddaughter, she loves the cold case files and really enjoyed this game. It's a handy size to take on holiday or to friends. Even get younger brother who is only eight joined in but I think going teens would be able to enjoy it more

I got this game to play with a group of my friends and I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the pack at the feel of the cards, as the quality was great. The actual game lasted a good amount of time as was a lot of fun and definitely got the brain going. I would recommend this game to either play with your family or friends.

It’s a really good game… the wording for the final play can be a little confusing if you’re not paying attention. But it is very good

This card game comes in a box & is about the size of a regular card deck. I don't find the colours or figures very attractive but it's a matter of taste. Not quite the Cluedo or Whist level of engagement I was hoping for adult play, SUSPICION is more of a pattern matching game with some clunky ‘bluff’ elements tacked on. It’s possibly more fun for larger numbers, and younger players may get more out of it. As it is, however, there are no deductive logic elements to the game play - there’s no “detective arrest strategy” to speak of and I found interest quickly waned. To be fair, for a simple family game with younger kids, it is fairly well presented and printed children's game at a reasonable price, just not living up to its claim of being a strategy game.
