Frame has poor paint, cheap metal; rest of kit okay
The bike looked great when I received it...until I was most of the way through assembly and found that the frame is bent. Investigated and found no damage- this bike was welded together at an asymmetric geometry. The metal of the dropouts and the rest of the frame is cheap, and flakes off with even a tiny amount of force. Bottom bracket was also faulty; the BB was loose and unable to be made tight, and due to that, the frame bend, and the tight angle of the crank, the crank hit the chain stay on every rotation. I had another crankset with a looser angle, and it stopped the strike on the chain stay. Chain stays are too far apart for the included wheels.Other than the issues with the frame, I am actually relatively pleased with the rest of the kit. The mag wheels seem proper (although the tires are not Kenda brand), and the fork is decent. Brakes are also decent. But all in all, I received less than $300 in actual value due to the defective frame, and I now have to buy the competitor's frame and do all of the work that I just did again.

Not for beginners, too many dangerous errors made by manufacturer
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Rear axle was incomplete. Frame called for 135mm overlock nut spacing, but was cold set onto an axle that was 115mm measured. Cold setting an aluminum frame is dangerous and it leads to catastrophic frame failure. A novice builder would not have noticed this or the missing bolt on the top of the fork.
