I am pleased with this purchase. It took me some time to choose one because frankly it's not a necessity I thought, for my home office.It has turned out to be a welcome addition.It is delivered in a flat container, not rolled up which is a plus. It is the perfect size for my small space and my chair moves smoothly over the surface! Exactly what it do and just what I needed.Glad I spent the money!

High quality plastic, very rigid, and looks great. My only issue is that it does slide fairly easily around once weight is removed. If where you put the mat doesn't allow your desk chair wheels to be entirely on it, expect it to slide around when you scoot in & out. My back wheel usually ends up on the carpet and that's just enough for my chair to push the mat inward when I scoot-in multiple times a day.Other than that, fantastic product so far!

I've had this chair mat for maybe two months now, and it is working very well. I'm using it on a hard floor surface with a rolling desk chair at an L-shaped desk, and it is not scratching up at all, nor is it scratching the floor underneath. I like the availability of a very large size so the chair can roll easily between each side of the desk, and it does not go off the edge. The mat does not slide around on the hard floor, which is extremely important! A huge selling point was not having to unfurl the product and wait and hope for it to flatten out - that is just a waste of time and creates frustration - your time is way too important! Get something that works from the minute you open the package! The only downside I can give you is that when I swiffer my floors, the swiffer pad doesn't wipe over the mat easily; it cleans up much better with either vacuuming over it or wiping with a damp paper towel. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because they definitely need to do something about educating the customer on which side goes on the floor and which the chair rolls on - there's zero way to know if you're using the correct side when you're removing the protective film.

Good packaging (not rolled), good quality (so far), but TERRIBLE for high pile carpets. It has no grasp at all, smooth on bottom side, so it slides all the time. I do not know if they sent me the wrong one or if it's just poorly designed but it slides on the carpet all the time, every day.Do not get for high pile carpets.UPDATED: mat broke on May 6. Return window was May 2. Downgraded from 2 star to 1 Star.

As I unwrapped I saw a sticker and tried to take it off by peeling it. It was part of the the frosted coating and part of the frosted coating started to pull up. I thought I could just put that part under the desk and still use it. I continued to unwrap and noticed pieces missing all over the frosted coating. Thought maybe it would disappear when placed on rug but it didn't.I received a reply from the seller and they explained that I needed to pull off the plastic coating. I did that and the mat is fine. I did not know there was a coating as the sticker said frosted side up and I thought that was the "frosted".

I ordered the 45" X 53" size, for use on a pretty thick home office carpet. It arrives fully flat, so I did not need to unroll or flatten it at all. I have used it for about a week and it is strong enough to support my 180 lb weight without bending under the wheels on carpet that is about a half inch thick over a standard carpet pad. I paid a little more to get a good mat and think this one is really excellent. Update after a couple of weeks using this mat: It does slide around on the carpet like others say. I tried turning it over to have the rough side down, but that did not stop the movement. It is not a huge problem, but it does happen. Other mats I have used had bumps on the bottom, like 1/4 inch high, all over, to prevent movement, which is better. Otherwise, this mat is great.

Mat cracked after 2 months of use. It also slides around easily and doesn't stay in place.Edit: Added a star because the store's support responded quickly and gave a full refund - although it was difficult to find their contact info.

This is a really sturdy chair mat and my chair rolls well. My carpet is a low shag. I will buy again when I need one -which I hope won't be for a long time!
