Some might say why get an item relatively low in price and it's lower than when first initially sourced a case, for something a lot more expensive? Well often items lower in price doesn't necessarily mean their bad, often made in same factory or close by. This item is by no means on initial scrutiny a bloody good case, especially as I like the recess where the handle fits, therefore allowing a flush fitting of the speaker rather than just a space with a securing strap, inside is felt on feeling it nice and soft, outside hard case, not overly rigid but maybe enough and the covering is or does seem sufficiently waterproof, there is a small compartment aside of the main one where I will no doubt keep the supplied shoulder strap, only concern which I may have concern overtime is the fabric hinge, but as I will only be using the case as a transit item maybe ok but time will tell, the colour blue I chose more or less matches .my speaker colour on par, not much else too say really as often buy expensive items and are reluctant then to buy things that protect them, but the speaker is good it needed to be and this case at present does the trick, I'll relate back to this in 6 to 12 months (unless tragedy strikes first) I didn't receive it free or anything but thought credit were credit due, it's a good solid protective case that will prolong the item designed for...

I really liked this travel case. It feels sturdy, well-made, and definitely does its job of protecting the speaker. A great accessory for traveling with the SoundLink Max.
