This particular product is unusual in that (1) it has weird rubber ends that require some pressure to attach to the glasses, and (2) the "line" is almost like a wire. I think the attachment to the glasses is excellent. I don't mine the wire, but some might

After loosing expensive pair of sunglasses during bushwalk in Rockies I bough this. Never again: used retainer while hiking, rafting, cycling, traveling. It looks fantastic, stylish, durable. Glasses stay on your nose or neck - easy to put down or up. Rubber "holders" additionally protect the glass from scratches by handles. Bought those for relatives, as they really liked mine. Worth the price.
