I bought this to view a region 2 dvd. It worked great. I was able to connect it to the tv via the enclosed cord. It was worth the $$. It’s lightweight and portable. It was perfect for my needs. Battery drains quickly but I use it plugged in.

This is a very convenient device that is easy to carry and use wherever you go. I use it to show my bilingual granddaughter shows from my country in order to enhance her language skills and it works wonderfully.

I purchased this player as a replacement for an earlier player (from another manufacturer) that experienced problems with its power supply after a couple of months. The player showed up about a day after package tracking said it did, but that was a problem with the carrier, not the manufacturer or Amazon. (Amazon did very well indeed in following up the matter of the item not arriving when package tracking indicated it already had!) Thus far, the player has performed quite well.

The Orei Mult Region DVD players from Bombay Electronics are the best! They have the best anti skip technology and can read lightly etched DVDs better than any other players.This particular player has an outstanding picture on its screen comparable to Bluray images. It also can attach to projectors to have quite large images with good resolution. This player is very versatile and well made.Bombay Electronics has had terrific service for years. This is the 3rd dvd player I go through...It seems as after while they just stop working...are things made so cheapy nowadays that you have to buy a new one every other month? It seems like it! This one lasted 2 months and it worked OK while we had it. We do not have a tv at home but allow occasional dvd movies from libraries ..i would say I would buy it again but I would expect it to be priced at $20 considering they break after a few months and there is no return.

I bought this specifically to play region 2 DVDs. They don't work. Works with region 1, but picture quality is only average.

I wanted to play dvd's from other regions and this little unit is just what I wanted. The swivel screen is nice. The picture is good, volume is on the loud side but it's clear as a bell. It came with several useful accessories. The only downside is that it doesn't hold a charge at all, however, I always intended to use it at home so this isn't an issue for me, personally. I've only been using it for 2 weeks and hope it lasts for a while.

This unit is perfect for us! It is lightweight. It is inexpensive (easily replaceable if stolen). The remote takes some getting used to but that will come in time.
