Helps dry hair and skin

Large diameter shower head and Softer water
The carbon granule filter works as described. Nice size on the shower head itself, larger diameter than typical. There is a different 'feel' of your hair after washing it. Seems to be the same technology approach of the large, tank-type systems used for whole-house water treatment. This approach is specific to the given outlet of course, so economic and functions as described. Onlly downside is it effectively adds 'length' to your shower head 'pipe' which drops the shower head closer to the bottom of the shower (assuming you don't modify the output pipe itself.)

It works better than most
I noticed the difference. We bought a 15-stage when originally and immediately returned it and bought this one instead. We live in a super old building with super old pipes and it makes a noticeable difference

Maybe our water is too hard, it barely lasted through like six washes before my hair began feeling icky again.

Soft water / clean water
It’s good filter last up to 6 months . I had since our water been bad here in Richmond VA. Since I started using this filter my hair and skin is little more healthy than before. No more bad odor in the water. The water pressure is the same . Good filter.
