Chandrika Ayurvedic Sandal Soap - 75g

Great price for fine imported soap. I love the scent of this soap-It is so exotic! Lathers up nice and holds the scent. I have sensitive skin and I have no issues with this soap. I love it!!

This is great soap but then and again anything by Chandrika is good and purely ayurvedic in quality. When I first used it, it felt slightly warm and tingling and then as my skin adjusted to the ingredients; it just leaves your skin soft and deodorized. I am almost down to the last of it but it has lasted fairly well for a small bar. It does brighten the skin as it says and I am very satisfied with the scent and results of this soap. I will definitely purchase again. Great deodorizing results especially beneficial as summer approaches.

I love this soap! (age 45) Many years ago I only used Phisoderm, when I could no longer find it, I tried many different facial cleansers and soaps. Then I found Chandrika in my local natural foods store and have used it ever since. It does have a strong, invigorating scent, which I look forward to every morning and evening. It leaves my face exceptionally clean without residue; I follow promptly with vitamin C moisturizer. I was saddened to see such poor reviews on a product consider to be a basic necessity in daily life....

smells great just doesnt last very long

It has an odd (incense like) odor. I think I may like it (somewhat), but I an not sure. It lathers well and rinses cleanly. The fragrance is much softer after rinsing and it is not offensive.

Great long lasting scent,good for your skin,no irritation problems at all.Pair it with a sandahl talc.

This is something a friend of mine from India has sworn by sandalwood they sent me some kind of mixture you mix in water and they said it could clear up acne but at the time I didn’t have any so I gave it to a friend then when I saw this I said okay I’ll try it and I must say after a few days I noticed my hands were so soft. The smell I do wonder if it’s fragrance or that’s what sandlewood smells like it’s a strong smell that will take some getting used to but for the benefits of something natural that works I’ll deal with it. Sandlewood has been used for centuries in India and I am very happy to see that the product came from there. Product packing was a little messed up but even though I’ll deal with it thank you so much for putting this product at a price I could try it.

The first time I ordered this it had a great sandalwood smell. Luckily I only ordered one bar the second time. My second order just smelled like soap with NO sandalwood smell at all. I won't order again. If you feel lucky - order this and you MAY get a great smelling soap.
