I thought that a bread maker would be kinda costly for a good one and when my girlfriend told me she thought the fancy ones were too expensive I decided to take her advice so I got this little guy because of the reviews and the price. AWESOME! The first time I made bread I used the French bread recipe because I had all the ingredients (yeast, water, oil, flour salt sugar..easy...) I followed the recipe and used the little measuring cup/spoons that came with (you put all the wet in first, then gently add the dry, and very last make a little crater in the top of the dry and put your yeast there so it dose not touch the water) the menu is super easy to use, it's not complicated at all to program very user friendly. My first loaf came out amazing! So spongy on the inside, beautiful crust, (I used the light setting it was not thick or dark at all) very nice shaped slices. Since then I have used it to make dough and then braided the dough and cooked in my conventional oven for beautiful French baguette, and also used it to mix fresh pasta dough. I have not tried the quick setting yet, but I prefer to just be patient for the best bread possible. It also has a delay setting you can program to have your bread ready up to 15 hours (or something like that) after you put the ingredients in. Someday I'm going to try coming home to a fresh loaf for dinner. I'm so glad I did not spend more money. I already bought another one for my mom. My only piece of advice... Don't forget to double check your little needing-attachment is in the bottom of the pan when you start dumping your stuff in. Very frustrating to do all the measuring and realize just after you put the yeast in that the attachment is sitting on the counter. Gahhh! I Can't wait to try more recipes! Review: Needs an understandable instruction manual! - I haven't even tried this yet. The included manual seems to have been translated into English by someone who does not have a grasp of the language. However, bread machines are not all that complicated, so I am sure I will be able to get it going. Hope mine is not one of those that makes a metal grinding sound when it starts mixing, as I've seen in a few reviews.....that is, those of the reviews that were actually for this bread maker, and not for a coffee machine! I will revise this review once I actually make some bread. I've now used this bread machine, and it works OK. I did contact the manufacturer to see what the enclosed "hook" was for. They responded that it was to remove the paddle after use. Unfortunately, the instructions did NOT say how to do this, nor did they explain when I emailed again to ask. Now, I am afraid to use the bread machine anymore as I can't clean it properly without being able to remove the paddle. Residue from the bread remains under the paddle and can't be removed. Since the manufacturer has not responded to my request to tell me HOW to use the hook to remove the paddle, I now have a product I am unable to use. Therefore, I've had to reduce my rating to one star. Had customer service been better, the rating would have been 4 or 5 stars, as the machine did produce good bread when I was able to use it.

Great Choice of Bread Maker
I wanted a good supply of crusty bread, so i search on Amazon and finally settle with this bread maker. Im so glad i choose this bread maker. It offers some great features. Its stainless steel exterior, its easy to keep clean and its looks great. its well made and durable. i have quite a few bread makers over the years and i would choose this one again. We have made white and whole wheat bread, pizza bread, English muffins loaves and the dough setting for a pita bread and sweet rolls and much more. This bread-maker made it so easy to create and bake. Love u Amazon.

Easy to Use for Making a Simple Loaf of Bread
I had a different brand bread maker and wasn't sure it was still working properly - so decided to get a new one. The VIVREAL Bread Maker attracted me due to the inexpensive price and the fact it had a specific gluten-free setting. I am presently making my second loaf and it smells great - it helps that I use lots of spices! I found the instruction booklet a bit confusing when it came to more complex functions, so I decided not to worry about it since I really just want to make a simple loaf of bread. I would have liked to see a phone number to call for any questions.

Great machine, but instructions not clear
The bread machine seems well-made and is very stable on the counter. The anxiously-awaited first loaf was a success! Only "con": the enclosed instruction/recipe leaflet is very poorly translated, and difficult to follow. Had to just guess at some of it. Would be very helpful if Vivreal would re-write it and have PDF available on-line.

simple to use
Never had a breadmaker before. I purchased this because I had a great experience using the frother. The frother is a quality machine that I use every morning. So, with that in mind, I figured their breadmaker ought to be good as well. Well, sort of. It is simple. Very simple. I used the recipe in booklet and the bread came out fine. But since I never used a bread maker, I didnt realize it took 3 hours for a plain bread. Knowing that, it would have been nice to have a delayed start feature so that it would be easier to time baking the bread. For example, if I wanted to wake up to a fresh bread, I would have to start it at 3am. If I wanted to have a bread ready for dinner, I would have to be home at 3pm. I believe that feature is pretty essential. Otherwise, I have not found any issues with the unit.

buttons are only a sticker that started peeling off after one use
If I could give this no stars I would. I had my last bread machine for 21 years... thats right 21 YEARS. Ive had this one for less than 2 and its already dead. The motor quit. It makes noise but no longer spins the beater bar. Nothing. I am disgusted by the cheap quality and will never buy this brand or from this seller again.

The easiest bread maker on the market
I have never had a bread maker before my grandfather used to make bread and it was great I'm very busy at work all the time and do not have a lot of time to sit home and bake this bread machine is so easy I drop in the ingredients close the lid push a button and when I get home from work there's fresh moist bread like you've never tasted out of any restaurant or any bread shop before cleaning the machine is equally easy basically a thorough wipe down and it's ready for storage
