Does this salt have iodine/iodide?

Actually, this is not necessarily a true statement.  Food companies do not use iodized salt in their processed foods ("most" don't), so the sodium you are getting in canned veggies, instant oatmeal, cereal, spaghetti sauce, etc does NOT include iodine.  By law, food manufacturers almost always use noniodized salt in processed foods AND list salt as iodized in the ingredient list on foods that use iodized salt.  https://draxe.com/iodine-rich-foods/

With all these conflicting reviews, I don't know if my grinder will work or not.  Some say no problem.  Some speak as if it is concrete.

This is the grinder I purchased in fact two sets one for my home and one for my mother's home and neither grinder likes to grind it at all. In fact it gets stuck, runs very slow, acts as tho the grinder needs new batteries with brand new batteries already and this is both sets of electric grinders. The flavor is great, however I would say that this is to course for electric grinders. Of course these are not $200 grinders they are $45 grinders yet they struggle very hard with this salt. I have two things I intend to do, one is to purchase a couple hand grinders for each of us and second purchase a finer grain of the exact same brand and use it in my grinders, yes I am sure it is redundant but I am an electrician so I prefer it that way.

Is this salt air dried?

I found this answer and this salt from the different regions appears to follow the same method. Himalayan Pink Salt is still extracted from mines by hand, according to long-standing tradition, and without the use of any mechanical devices or explosion techniques. After being hand-selected, the salt is then hand-crushed, hand-washed, and dried in the sun. Himalayan Pink Salt on the market today is currently coming from the mountainous regions of Pakistan.
