This arrived yesterday and I put it together this morning. I could kick myself for not wiping down each piece and inspecting it before putting it together. The way it goes together requires you to put the doors on the floor and build it up from there, which is different from any other I've ever built. As a result, there were some things I didn't even notice until I put it together. I stood it up and started wiping it down with a dust cloth, but many of the spots I thought were dust and packaging turned out to be scratches, some of them big, all over the front doors. It was built on a special wool covering that I use when building furniture just to make sure I don't scratch anything, so I know it wasn't me. Then when I wiped down one of the sides, close to the bottom I noticed a huge scratch going all the way across. When I got close to it I realized it was more than just a scratch; it was a crack in the particle board all the way across it!! I never even saw it. That was the side that attached to the doors first and the way it was facing, I wasn't looking at that side. So now I have this thing put together that not only looks bad, but is structurally unsound. I tried clicking on the link they have to contact ClosetMaid if we have any issue, but each time I've tried, I get the message that it can't be found. I'm not even sure what to do at this point. The box was thrown out this morning and it is put together, so how can I even return it to Amazon? I will try to add pics or video to this review. UPDATE: Amazon Customer Service made it right for me.

First two pictures are just as I received it from UPS. Whether or not this was because of UPS during shipping or if box set in a warehouse looking like this, I don't know. But the box was pretty badly damaged. I had a slight mark on one of the corners of the side pieces, so not to bad. The back cover was creased pretty bad and does have a tear but I flipped it 180 degrees so it's on the bottom now. Now on to the cabinet itself. I was thoroughly disappointed at the fact that when I opened the parts packaging that I only found three hinges. These are not normal hinges either so you cannot just run to Home Depot and get a new set. Because of this I couldn't attach the doors... The attachment piece that's supposed to screw into the wall and into the top of the cabinet seems more like a part they decided to add last minute. There's no screw hole to mount it in on the top of the cabinet. Because it's particle board, when you use the small self tapping screw they provide you end up cracking the wood and the finish on top. Not to mention it's about eye level and not very pleasing to look at. I just through my bread on top and all is good. Also, they didn't provide a proper wall screw with plastic insert. So if by chance you were to have to much weigh on top the screw very well could just pull right now of drywall and then bye bye food/cabinet. Mine didn't sit level either. Because it's cheap particle board(glued together and compressed wood chips) I'm rating the sturdiness at a 3. Lean on it, to much weight or accidentally off set the screws in the wood and it will break. Overall, it's decent cabinet. Does everything that I needed it to do, well minus the doors that is...

There were holes missing for some of the screws on the inside of the cabinet. Had to drill the missing holes myself. The back of the cabinet is made out of cardboard. Not a good feature.

Just had this item. put together today and the back/ cardboard is already rippling. Would like either a new back shipped or a $10 credit so that I can get contact paper and fix it myself. Also one of the adjustable support pegs is missing. Only was provided 7 and should have been 8. Please ship a replacement peg to me
