The first floor the book makes similar to the SAT book made by the same author, is that someone who scored perfectly on the test is a great teacher!We know in sports that is not the case. Usually the best athletes make lousy coaches. There's a lot of assume now as if they have and they assume that everyone else has the same abilities as them which makes it difficult for them to be a coach for players without the same abilities. We say the same thing where many great actors think they will make great directors, and they often fail.With that said, the book is good and solid, but it lacks the details of some of the best books on the market. Nowhere will you find this book listed as one of the best ACT books in the market. So just be aware of that.There should be less of an emphasis of I'm a great teacher because I scored perfectly on the test. That is nonsense! This is a great book because a lot of people bought the book and said it was a tremendous help.

This book first caught my eye by the several reviews that after reading this book and doing the practices, how affective it was for raising the ACT Score. I can now say with proof that my daughter who is not a great test taker, and scored a 16 on her ACT prior, just received her ACT score for the September 2016 test, and her composite score was a 25! She exceeded in all areas above and beyond. I highly recommend this book as it is laid out for you to easily understand, organized in sections and gives you great tips to why to select that answer vs. just showing that the answer was incorrect.

I bought this book after seeing it at Barnes and Nobles but didn’t want to pay the full price for a brand new book. The seller who sold this sold it for a SUPER cheap price ($2ish) so I had to buy right away. This book is very helpful, I’m looking for a good strategies book and this is the one I think you should settle for if you’re on the same boat as me. Highly highly recommend, I wish the author came out with the new SAT book sooner though but that’s okay

This book was really helpful for my daughter. She went from a 25 to a 28. She says the book really helped her in the science section, which was always her worst section.

Great tips! Helped with science for sure, and had some great strategies for other areas. I'd recommend this as a supplement to the official ACT guide, or a good resource if you're short on time for studying like I was.

This book helped me get familiar with the ACT and I ended up scoring higher. Good book.
