this tool is exactly what you need to install the front seal on a GM 1.4 Turbo engine. It is a fraction of the cost of the official tool and works just as well. I was able to drive the seal in nice and square and have no leaks. Excellent tool!

Works like a champ!

This seal installer worked flawlessly to install the front crankshaft seal on my 2013 Chevy Cruze. After train to use a socket and dead blow and got nowhere fast I ordered this in the seal was in in a matter of seconds. Definitely recommended if you don't feel like fighting with your seal and damaging it by not driving it straight.

Depending on fitment of vehicle this is a must have when doing seals. It evenly applies pressure while installing a new seal

As a professional automotive technician, this tool can be a life saver. Having the correct seal installer makes the job easier for nearly any application. This front crankshaft seal removal tool for certain GM engines is very well made and is comparable to the factory tool I've seen in the past. It is plastic but the built material appears to be excellent quality and the tool works well. It comes packaged in just a plain cardboard box with no case to store it. I give this tool 5 stars for quality and value.

I'm an older seasoned automotive technician, I'm reviewing this product based on my many years of experience in the field using high quality tools and equipment. We use this style seal installer in the shop regularly, always good to have additional size installers. Made of high impact plastic like most of these are. Not as deep as it could be, but will still work. Price point is considered reasonable for this item.

This low priced tool performed the same job quite successfully that you’d use tools you buy at double price, to perform. Happy to buy this and save some bucks.
