I recently purchased the electric drain auger, and I have to say, it has completely transformed how I deal with clogged drains in my home. It easily handles my plumbing pipes from 1" to 4", making it perfect for everything from clogged toilets to stubborn kitchen sinks. The portability is fantastic; I can move it around without any hassle, and the wheels glide smoothly over stairs. The various cutters offered have been incredibly effective against different types of blockages, and I appreciate the safety features.

I have only used it one time so far, but it worked great.. It did take a small amount of assembly, but not too much.. In one hour it was fully assembled and ran through my drain the first time..I debated about getting it at first, but then the thoughts that this costs close to, or as much as what it would cost to have a plumber come in just one time.. That madd the decision easy.. and if I only use it 2 times, than I still got my money's worth. Plus, since this spins, it will take the snake and whip it around the pipe knocking off and build up on it as it goes, vs a regular hand snake which will only poke holes in the clog, which if too bad, may only temporarily get it flowing.. That is what we were doing before..So am I happy with it? Yes.. Was it worth the money? Yes.. As long as it holds up, I would definitely recommend it.One thing to remember.. I got the 50' one with the 1/2" snake.. It is not light.. 60+ pounds.. So take that into consideration if you need help with it going up and down stairs or taking it out of the box.

The drum rotates clockwise and counter clockwise, but the cable/snake does not move forward or backward. It is a waste of time, besides the item is very heavy, making repackaging and returning very difficult
