Who knew Hello Kitty could cause so much chaos? These cards have had the kids glued to the table — and the adults sneaking in cheeky rounds when they think no one’s watching. Slap jack, crazy eights, rummy — all the classics, but with a bit more fun (and a lot more giggles). Small enough to shove in your bag, so you’re prepared for any “Are we there yet?” moments or those dreaded rainy days. Honestly, these cards have saved more family outings than I can count. Perfect gift if you want to be popular with kids and pretend to be fun with the grown-ups!

Great playing cards as always from Waddingtons. The quality of the cards and the print is excellent. These would make an excellent gift for a 'Hello Kitty' fan, or a perfect addition to your 'Hello Kitty' merch. There are a couple of issues though: firstly, it's very hard to open the box without damaging the top tab, which is a shame for collectors, and secondly, after playing with cards for years, the design of these is so different that it takes a while to get used to the unusual and playful suits and to quickly recognise them. However, I suppose these aren't meant to be such a serious pack of cards so you're hardly going to be playing high stakes poker with them! Anyway, a nice set of cards and definitely one for collectors.

You get 52 cards in 4 sets, plus Jokers. One of the differences is instead of the standard suites of Spades, Clubs, Diamonds and Hearts you have Bows, Cherries, Apples and Strawberries. The backs of the cards are Hello Kitty themed with lots of Kitty faces making up the styles. The two jokers, ace cards, jokers, queens and kings all have Hello Kitty characters on them with the pictures being different in each suite. Very cute and at £3.99 a pack a good price for a cute card deck you can play all your favourite card games on, and maybe perform a few magic tricks with as well.
