Longer distance is NOT a myth!
Bandit balls travel further, not kidding. I don't have a super fast swing, so I need help, and since I'm not playing in PGA tournaments, I'm not worried about getting called out. My friends think I'm silly, but I've hit other brand name balls, and I guess I get about 15-30 yards further with these balls. Think that doesn't matter? Would you prefer a 150 yard second shot, or 180 yard second shot? I dinged them one star because it seems like they have gone up a fair amount in price in the past few years. Other than that, buy a dozen, and start smacking the ball further. Your best ball partners will appreciate it.

Only received a sleeve not the box of 12.
We ordered Bandit Golf Balls in April, very satisfied with the box of 12. I reordered 3 days ago and received 1 sleeve, started a return and thought maybe it was a mistake so I reordered. Picked up 1 sleeve again today.

They give you more distance
They do give you more distance off the tee and in the fairway when approaching the green. They also seem to have less spin and that makes the ball go straighter. However they feel like a rock when you are chipping around the green. The hard cover also takes a bad beating if the ball hits the cart path.

Not as long as you think
These balls aren't bad for the price but don't fly any further or straighter. Out of curiosity I picked them up to see if I'd get more distance and hit my Chrome Softs farther. They might benefit someone who has a slower club head speed. Didn't fly any straighter.
