I just got these and installed them very quickly but haven't put them through the test of my children yet. That said, they are tough even for me to push open, so I'm thinking they will do the trick very nicely in terms of safety.Note: Be careful as you position these. I had to remove my burner knobs and then put the safety unit on, then replace the knobs. There was a tricky plastic piece on the safety unit hinge that got in the way of my knob turning properly so the burner would not ignite. I had to reposition the safety unit at a different angle to get it to work for my burners to turn smoothly. Unfortunately, I discovered that once positioned, these units are nearly impossible to reposition (but that's good for safety!!), and unfortunately they did not include any extra adhesives in the package. So if you mess up the placement initially like I did, you need to just use a different one. For my 4 burner knobs, I ended up using all 6 pieces because when I had to reposition 2 of them, the adhesive was no longer usable. Doh.All in all, I'll be satisfied with this purchase when it helps my kids realize the stove is no longer a fun place. =)

I have a standard meaning a normal size gas stove. These covers for perfectly. I just popped the stove lid off and put the cover on then put the lids back on and snapped the cover closed. I didn’t peel off the tape yet because I wanted to make sure they fit. I don’t really need the tape them because they are a good fit. I got them because my 6 month old kitten keeps jumping on the counter and he turns on the burners. He has turned them on twice so far. Once when I wasn’t home and the other time I was home.Also, the covers came with free outlet covers.

These were plenty big enough for my gas stove knobs. I didn't bother with the adhesive because I can remove my knobs and they're a bit bigger than the hole. I was a bit confused by the measurements, the width they show is of the hole, not the whole cover. If your knobs are removable it will fit a bigger size than listed. They keep the toddler away from the knobs and aren't too hard for me to open, exactly what I was looking for.

Finally found a durable cover for my stove knobs that do not obstruct the stove opening. I've tried so many different ones, and these are the ones. I have a whirlpool oven, and the knobs are very small and seem low and close to the oven door. These work perfectly and I can keep them on 100% of the time while I use my oven. They are a little hard to open but that's the least of my worries. They are very durable and I'm impressed.

Beware these covers have an inward lip on the adhesive side that resulted in it completely covering the markings on our cooktop so we would have had to guess how high the heat was. Larger than anticipated, so make sure you have adequate room if your knobs are grouped together. For some reason package included outlet covers even though this wasn’t mentioned in the description.

The media could not be loaded.  Awesome product!! Super easy to use one handed, easy to install, and is very secure (clean the surface under your oven knobs when you pull them off to install these covers- can be dusty or greasy which would make the adhesive weaker). Plastic is not too thick or thin and I can still see my knob markings as I adjust the heat on the burners.

Works great for cats that keep trying to burn our house down!! Easy to install, and work well! For some reason our devil cats need to jump on the counters/oven. When they jump on the oven they turn on the gas...

Gives a nice appearance and fits the knob perfectly. Unfortunately the 3M covers the markings completely. Didn’t really think through on that so it’s my own fault. I think I’ll just DIY with masking tape and pen as the larger size will be too big for the surface.

Mi estufa para prender las parrillas se aprieta las perillas. Y por accidente si te recargas puedes apretarlas. Estas unidades nos ayudan a que eso no suceda. Al principio no sabíamos cómo abrirlos. Con la práctica es fácil hacerlo. El material se ve de buena calidad y son completamente transparentes, así que las perillas no se ven feas.

Our stove knobs are a little bigger than the product. I installed only 4 of them and left one blank. Easy to install, easy to use. Especially easy to clean after cooking.

Return it since they don’t fit on my gas stove knobs.

Hard to open because the knob got in the way. We had to file the tab off to get it to work.

Did not stick at all, covers are also too hard for an adult to open. Would definitely not recommend.
