The high-tack adhesive tape can be effectively used in controlling squeaks and rattles that are caused due to vibration or friction of metallic or plastic materials. The thin acrylic tape is low maintenance yet more durable than PTFE tapes. It can be a preferred choice in automotive, manufacturing, and distribution industries. The durable tape can be used in automotive panels as well as interiors and for protecting containers from wearing or getting damaged.

Yes! Makes drawers slide like butter. Quantity of tape is not 108 ft.
Love this stuff. I have several wood antique pieces of furniture and antique reproductions that are solid wood. The quality of solid wood furniture is great but the wood-on-wood drawer mechanisms can be a bit meh. I took the drawers out, flipped them and measured the width of the ends. I ordered that width tape in the largest size (which is definitely not "108 ft" as listed in the description - more like 108"- I measured the tape after I applied the entire roll and it was about 16'). This size did three strips on each of 4 drawers. I used a strip on each end and one down the middle that rides along a wooden track. The result was exactly what I was looking for. I took the coefficient of friction from something very high (seemed like sandpaper to me) to something like a kid's slip-in-slide. Yay.The tape is easy to use. You peel off the paper on the sticky side, apply and you are done. It is very thin and virtually invisible. I had to catch the light just right to get a sheen in the attached photo. When looking down at the drawer after application, I really couldn't see any difference.**** UPDATE 2020 ****After two years, I needed to replace the tape. The problem was that the adhesive was being pushed out of the sides of the tape and it is sticky (see image of residue beyond side of tape when I pulled it up). When you are trying to reduce friction, anything sticky is not ideal. For this reason, I'm taking my review down to 4 stars. This may be specific to my situation. I have heavy drawers and I initially bought narrow tape and applied it to the bottom of the drawer. Therefore the full weight of the drawer was always resting on a narrow 1/4" strip of tape. This is probably why some of the adhesive was pushed out from the sides. So two years later, I had to peel off the tape. It didn't damage any of the wood but I needed to use some Goo-Gone to clean up the sticky residue.I reapplied wider tape to the drawer supports inside of the cabinet instead of using narrow tape on the bottom of the drawer. The drawers glide like butter again which is great. Hopefully, the adhesive leakage from the sides won't happen again. My recommendation is to get the widest possible tape and apply it to the widest portion of the drawer. In other words, if what supports the drawer inside of your cabinet are 1/2" but the drawer bottoms are 1/4", get the 1/2" and apply it to the inside supports.

Restore marital harmony with this tape
My wife has an antique dresser that needed repairs because the drawer has been so difficult to pull out. I delayed fixing it and she finally managed to pull the drawer apart trying to get the thing open. I had to fix it. I repaired the drawer with glue and fasteners then bought this tape on a gamble that it would fix the sliding problem. It did. Easy to cut and work with, and thankfully a no brainer. I taped the areas that carried the drawer (see photo) put the drawer back in, and marital harmony was restored.Note: I bought the 1/2 inch wide tape, but I think the wider sizes would do a better job. Just saying. The tape worked, was inexpensive, arrived promptly, and was more than enough for several jobs.

Arm workout no more
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I tried to upload videos showing the before, with only one strip of tape on the middle bar, and then tape also on the sides of the drawer as well. Apparently only one video is allowed per review though so you’ll just have to see how lickedly swift fast it is to open and close the drawer and trust me, this did not used to be the case. I’m not going to develop my arm muscles as much with this tape on my drawers, but I’m okay making that sacrifice. I’m so happy I found this tape to just make life easier and make me more willing to use family heirloom furniture. This desk was recently painted by me but was the first piece of furniture in my parent’s marriage 40+ years ago.

New life to wood on wood drawers.
This product worked just as promised. Old wooden drawers using wood on wood without dedicated slide. Drawers were very hard to close and would tilt sideways easily due to uneven friction on one side or other. Tape was applied to dresser side where drawer would rest. Area was wiped with clean cloth to remove dust. Applied tape to entire length of drawer tract on each side. Did not apply to drawer. Huge improvement in ease of use.

Love this. Hope it lasts.
This stuff is amazing. I used it places I didn't think it would work (a side panel door) and it prevented the sticking and made it feel like brand new. I also used it on all kinds of drawers. It took a bit to learn where exactly it should be applied, and different types of drawers needed it applied different places. I even used it on the top rim of a drawer that was crumbling. I was afraid it would peal off or look funny, but it's been a while now and no issues. In the pictures, you can see where the wood/paint has been worn down over time. I put the tape there and it's nearly invisible. Overall, love it.

Perfect fix for old dresser drawers
On two dressers, I removed the drawers (9 in total), and vacuumed the wood tracks to remove any dust or loose wood bits. Measured the track length, and cut the tape piece to size. The adhesive is strong, so it was a little tricky to separate the backing, but that's a good problem! I used a not-too-sharp knife to peel back the first inch or so of the backing paper, then positioned the exposed end of the tape at the back of the track. After attaching the first inch, I held the rest up a few inches, stretched to the front of the track, and positioned above where it would go. Gently pulling the "tab" of partially removed backing paper, I let the tape down onto the track, guiding it carefully into position (it's strong adhesive, so don't let it stick to the side of the wood track bar!). I then finished by pressing the whole length with a couple of fingers.Did all 9 drawers in a little over an hour. Now have both dressers back in operation, and the drawers slide like they're on air (well, almost).Good product, will probably find more uses for it.
