Use these for chemo
I use these during chemo treatment to keep my nails and fingers in good shape. They do thaw out quickly, so for a one hour treatment, we need 2 to 3 pair. However, for taxol or related treatment, these are important to keep nails intact. It hurts for the first 15 minutes, but small price to pay to avoid nail problems and neuropathy.

Effective cold therapy
I bought this while undergoing Taxol chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. My doctor suggested it and said it can reduce or prevent the neuropathy associated with Taxol. I could really tell a difference in neuropathy when I didn't use it one time. However, it is painfully cold. If you can tolerate your fingers feeling like they're getting frostbitten, it is worth every minute of pain to prevent neuropathy. Also, wish it came in a pair instead of just one.

Sooooo cold!!!!
I read reviews prior to purchasing this speaking of how cold it gets. I got mine a couple of days ago and used it for the first time last night. One of the users has problems with eczema, as do I. I have been wrapping ice packs in dish towels to wrap my hand because the cold soothes the affected spots. When I saw this, I had to get it. But OMG, previous reviews are right. It gets sooo cold. But, I"m not complaining. Anything that will calm the itch is amazing, and this helps tremendously. If I could just find something now to cure it....

No more balancing ice packs or bottles :)
One of the best acquisitions of my life. I slip it on when my carpal tunnel is acting up, no balancing ice packs or frozen bottles. I only wish the cold lasted longer. I get about 15-20 minutes. Still deserves the five stars :)

This hand cold pack glove appears to be well constructed.Unfortunately, my swollen wrist would not fit into the glove.If the opening were a little larger it might have fit.I do not fault the seller for size issues, it has no bearing on the quality of the product.

Definitely works during Chemo
I purchased these when I had to undergo a particularly harsh chemo regime to prevent Peripheral Neuropathy. I have to say, I am half way through on a dose dense cycle and no tingling or numbness in my fingers/nails at all so far, so I really recommend them for that.
