Must have if you have a job that is tough on your feet. Fits like a glove and lasts for about half an hour for a good cooling down period. I have not had issues walking on the gel as it is cooling. Definitely worth the cost for a product headquartered in USA. I had no issues with smell and says they are washable, but not tried yet. Came in a bag for flexible use when needed with no fear of food contamination. I can see using this as an elbow sleeve if needed.
