I recently added a custom billiards light to my game room, and I couldn't be happier with the results. This light is the perfect fit for a billiards room, offering a stunning design, easy installation, and exceptional lighting. The design of this custom billiards light is absolutely perfect for creating the right ambiance in a billiards room (love the pool balls on top). It complements the surroundings, adding a stylish touch to the space. Installation was easy enough, even without the most comprehensive instructions. The process was straightforward, and I had the light mounted at the optimal height (around 35 inches) for my 8-foot billiards table. This billiards light provides great lighting for the playing area. I'm using 60w bulbs that evenly distribute light across the table, ensuring clear visibility without any annoying glare or shadows. The lighting level is just right, enhancing gameplay and allowing for accurate shots.

Well first off only one end needs to have power (hard wired). If you have an light fixture in the center of your table it is possible to use only one mount as in the "A" pattern. The weight is fairly heavy so if you don't use the two mounts then be sure your electrical mount is strong enough to hold it. I used both supports even though power is only supplied to one. I need to move my electrical over about 3 feet but it's going to wait for cooler weather. Also note the balls are marked on both sides, my girlfriend asked this to me before I ordered it, I just assumed they were. This really was a very good buy for my 7 foot table, the others I was looking at were $300+. The chain is nice and may need more added if you have above 8 foot ceilings.

Real pool balls in the middle, nice design, pretty easy to put together. Issues, first the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Also, when you're on the ladder and getting the electrical done, you get to realize that you need to drill a hole into the cover in order to finish it. Something that should already be on the cover or told in the instructions. So plan for that and it'll make life easier.

We bought this light for a bar pool table. It’s a great accent, and we get lots of compliments on the aesthetics. It was pretty easy to hang, even though we mounted on a drop ceiling which required extra supporting. The whole light is very well constructed and the shades are a pretty heavy metal. We have been very pleased with the amount of light it puts on the pool table. We did add a dimmer switch so we can adjust it to the the mood at the bar.

Item was well packed. Nothing was damaged and the instructions were easy to read. I was a little surprised how heady the light was but happy that it was well built. IT should not swing in a light breeze (from a fan.) I used 75w LED bulbs to show off the pool table. I recommended this light to several folks.

Beautiful, easy to install and high quality product. Totally worth what you pay for it. Not cheap in any way. I would buy it again.

this completed the pool room. having a non accessible ceiling and joists running the wrong way, this was our solution with two mounting points. build a faux beam, long enough to cover the ceiling box that was off center of the table positioning. stained it and mounted the light to the box. looks amazing!!!

Assembly of the lighting unit was easy but mounting it on my already finished basement ceiling was a challenge. The joists spacing didn't line up with the chains, so I had to make a hollow wood beam to attach to the ceiling first, then attached the light to the beam. That got the light absolutely centered where I wanted it. All the wiring is inside the beam. Easy to wire. I've had nothing but compliments from my friends on the pool ball theme of the light. For price, it's much nicer and better value than what the pool table store was offering. I've used LED light bulbs (dimmable) in the sockets. 100 watt equivalent at each end and 60 watt equivalent in the mid light. I didn't need to go that bright, but when cleaning the table or vacuuming the room, it's full bright. When playing, we can dim it to a comfortable playing level. Would not hesitate this light unit to anyone. Very happy!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the item. I wasn't sure if the pool balls might be carved/painted but they are actual balls (probably not exactly to scale but still look real). The only challenge I had was in wiring it (make sure not to forget to connect the 3 pieces together with he wire hidden inside which is simple), the tougher part was to fish the wire through the hole to the socket and leave just enough so you could wire/attach it without too much excess. End result is great & solid item.

I bought this for my parent's place, who have a pool table in their basement. This accessory really brings a billiard room together and gives the space a whole new feel. I was pleasantly surprised to see the all-metal construction and it went up pretty easily. Really like the billiard ball decorations - and they seem to be full-sized balls (though some of them were crooked). Compared to the price of major retailers, it's a great accessory for the pool-addict with a table in their house.
