(1) Author Barney Rowe has produced a book that is filled with practical information that is applicable (and essential) to skill-development for the aspiring angler.(2) Rowe addresses the Best Knots; the elements, variables, and specific measurements needed to build various types of terminal tackle; Fishing Styles & Fishing Environments; Rowe's list of Most-Useful Gear; and extremely helpful Guidelines for catching more than 25 saltwater species.(3) Within a day of receiving this book, I had more than 20 tab-highlights and the pages were filled with underlined passages.

Pretty good book. Not as thorough as other books on saltwater fishing. But a good book for kids.
