Great product. Only regret is having to return it because the garbage man said it wasn’t the “right type” of trash can for his truck. After sales service did everything they could to help me return this product. Definitely recommend both product and Tenaquip.

I hate, hate, HATE touching the trash can lid while I am cooking. Disgusting. Nasty. You get the picture. This is a BIG 32 gallon (not quart, not liter - gallon) trash can with a foot pedal to lift the lid hands-free. It works great so far. This trash can is the best value I has been able to find across many internet sites. It is Rubbermaid - and it is built tough, including a very hefty metal trash lid lifting mechanism. It comes in four colors - grey, navy blue, a very bright canary yellow, and red (must be for bio-hazardous waste, I guess). I chose grey as a neutral color. I wanted brown to go with my hardwood cabinets, but they don't come in brown. This item comes fully assembled in a VERY big box. I am VERY happy with this purchase. UPDATE DEC 2023 - Still working great. The lid opener still works. The wheels still work. I am very happy with the durability of this purchase.

Using a 32 gallon version for my personal garbage in the garage. Is very well thought out and has a lot of cool features they don't mention. For example, when I stretched a 33 gallon garbage bag around the rim I was pleased to discover there are little hooks beneath the rim to secure the bag even better. The lid seals as tight as the lift-off kind and disengages if you want to bend it all the way backwards out of sight. Is the Ferrari of garbage cans -- for both price and quality.
