I live in an area with a lot of ticks if you need to go into the wooded part. I just had a tick that I had to remove after it started to dig in. I mentioned it to my son in law and he showed me this product and uses it anytime he needs,to remove a tick. The design is good for grabbing the tick to remove it.

I used these to get a hoard of ticks off of a puppy I adopted. It was a "country" dog and had been posts it's entire 12 weeks of life. It felt life a huge task to get all of the ticks off of him. But this tool made it so very easy and safe! Love this product!

Works great with the large and medium ticks. The really small ones, it doesn’t work as well but I can usually get them off eventually.

If you go hiking, or walk the dogs in the woods, this is a must. I can pull ticks off dogs easily with these. I don’t go hiking much and I hate ticks but let me tell you since I bought these. It’s amazing.I used to have to spend 45 minutes getting my dog into a position to get the tick off. Now with this, I can do it in less than two minutes. Treats aren’t needed.These are so easy to use so quick to get the tick off in seconds. The only problem I have with them is a dogs will chew them if I don’t pay attention to where I place them so I’ve had to buy more.But I’d buy these any day because my dogs don’t freak out about these plastic tick removers. They’re lightweight you can slip them into a pocket without them stabbing you like a pair of tweezers

I have used these and other types in the past. I prefer thos particular one for ease around fur or hair, much easier to remove the tickTick twister

I was trying to buy the Tick Tornado but somehow ended up with these. They are basically like a tiny, plastic claw hammer. You get the claw under the tick's body and pry upward to get it to release. Used once on the dog and once on myself. The Tornado worked better in my opinion but this still works without killing the tick and leaving parts of inside you or your dog. We have them at home and in both of the cars because if you have a dog and you hike, the ticks are inevitable.
