Coupler was a good quality, needed to extend our down rod to 9’ and this worked great with our 6’ down rod.

Came as ordered

I originally purchased a fan at Walmart that said "downrod sold separately" — only to find out that they did not sell a downrod longer than what came with the fan! This one was exactly what we needed to lower the fan in my son's room. Pay attention to finding out if your downrod needs tread on either side and make sure you know the exact diameter of rod required. This one was perfect for us.

The Downrod was fine. But the Extension kit did not have the correct connectors on it so I had to spend an additional hour wiring up something that should have taken a minute

This extension rod technically works, but it came with a few frustrating issues. The wiring was backwards, which made installation more confusing than it needed to be. It also caused the fan to sway a bit once running, which was unexpected and kind of annoying. Putting it together was more of a hassle than I anticipated—definitely not as straightforward as it should be. Once installed, it functions fine, but I wouldn't call it a smooth experience. Color matched the fan we purchased and the quality seemed fine. It fit together fine as well.

Nice down rod that matches the same brand fan. The reason for 3 stars is that the wiring in the downrod came wired wrong. It was wired reverse of how it was supposed to be. Also the coupler included is a shiny silver instead of bronze like the ceiling fan. The coupler would look odd installed, not sure why it’s not bronze
