This can be for a wide range of ages. I would say between 8-12 years would enjoy it most. It was a huge hit for the 8 year old I bought it for. From the moment they opened the box, they were excited! It was well organized and felt like a real "spa day" experience for them. The instructions were easy to follow, and I loved that the kit came with everything they needed, including fun flavors and stickers for customizing their lip balm containers. It kept them happily engaged for more than an hour. It was nice because they could create something new that is usable and took them away from wanting to watch TV. Honestly, the quality was pretty good. It feels like normal lip balm from the store which was cool because they got to make it! Took forever to melt the mixture in the microwave. 15 seconds 3 times did nothing. Ended up 60 seconds and finally melted and then you have to work fast, put the drops of flavor in fast and fill the tubes immediately! My 9 yr. old granddaughter got the hang of it and cranked them all out & really enjoyed making all her lip balms! Fun kit! A little messy.

The age 9 or 10 is probably a good age for this kit. However I found it to be hard to get started and I am not so sure my lip balm came out like it is supposed to. The kit is good just not for me. The grand like making it to and playing with it but I did not feel like it is useable like this brands other kits.

This was super fun and easy to do with my 6 year old. One batch made 4 lip balms.

this product can be used by children or adults,i got it as a gift for christmas and made the lip gloss.it was easy to make and the lip gloss is perfect love the scents and the lip gloss lasts longer on your lips than the expensive ones you can buy in store,love that is all natural products in it,,only one thing i didnt like was that the tubes ere so narrow and small you have to be really careful when pouring cause it doesnt hold alot.but there is loads of product left over..so you could re use the tubes and fill them agian.ill definitely will be buying this agian for gifts for my godchild and relatives.
