While not quite as sweet as sucrose, the taste is nearly identical to table sugar. I don’t like most alternative sweeteners and just refuse to use them, but this is very good. My only concern is the price. I hope as production scales up the price will come down.

So... Taste is wonderful, as much as I liked the alternatives, this was so close to sugar, I had to ask my AI if it was really Keto Friendly. I've been on Ketovore (Keto+Carnivore) for three weeks with barely any bathroom visits. I was a bit stopped up. I drank my first cup of coffee with this wonderful Rare Sugar two days ago, then went lifting with the wife. I had a bit of bubbling in the belly and thought little of it...put in the reps and wondered at the sounds my belly was making...these were like none I have ever heard. Besides, I had resigned to being stopped-up on this dietary change for the rest of my life. We came home, made our wonderful dinner, I had a keto-friendly drink, and the next thing I knew was that I was in a mad dash like never before. Left my phone, dinner and a piece of my soul in order to get to the toilet. I sat down and proceeded to have at least 5 rounds of ultimate flush. It was magnificent... In the past, I'd get fast food or take medicine to do the same. It was explosive people: DO NOT TRUST A FART. Seriously, DON'T! So as a test, since I have a PhD, I did the same last night... This time, within half an hour, the bubble guts returned and did not leave me for the next few hours. For the first time in weeks... I felt at peace in more than my soul. I was finally cleaned out. I realized that first day, the fire I had played with by having coffee and going to the gym! Five Stars for Taste and Five Stars for instant bowel flushing! - WOULD RECOMMEND!

As a Type 1 Diabetic, I was looking for a different and better sweetener. I’ve found it with this Tagatose product! The large 2 pound container is a great value for this harder to find low calorie sweetener! This sweetener is supposedly better for your overall health than what you find at the grocery store! You only need a small amount of this fine powder to sweeten coffee, tea, and baked goods! I will be purchasing more of this great quality product from Amazon!

I liked what I read about tagatose, and I'm sure it has its applications. I regret spending almost $20 for this product because even though I was very careful in amounts I used, I felt upset in my stomach and it didn't even make things taste sweet. So even though I'm releasing weight I will just use sugar if I feel like I need some sweetness instead of all these substitutes. I don't recommend this product for home use.

This comes through as promised! No aftertaste like one gets with other sugar substitutes. Sweetens like sugar!

Very good and I cannot detect any aftertaste. Bakes well with about even measurement to sugar. Mostly I have used to prepare gelatin with 100% fruit, unsweetened fruit juices or in iced tea. I have checked my glucose after consuming and it does not seem to affect readings much, if at all.

Within the hour, I was experiencing what can only be described as Mount Vesuvius meets Taco Tuesday. The kind of explosive event that makes you reconsider your life choices, your diet, and your bathroom ventilation. Don’t get me wrong — it’s still delicious, and technically, it works. But I’d advise enjoying it only when you’re safely within sprinting distance of a restroom and perhaps after alerting your neighbors of potential seismic activity. Five stars for taste. Zero stars for stealth. Would I use it again? …Absolutely. But only on my day off.

It's more powdery than regular sugar, but almost as sweet. Not quite as sweet as regular sugar, but close. Also, it makes my teeth feel cleaner. No idea if it's a probiotic or something.
