Used this both on my Android and my husband's Iphone- both with the USB Type C connection and it worked perfectly and quickly. Loved that it connected right away and was easy to use and I didn't need to spend a bunch of time reading the manual or looking up videos. Seriously just plug in the receiver and turn on the mic and it connects. Obviously you need to know how to correctly hold and speak into a microphone and when you do, it's a quality sound. Super affordable so I am not afraid to let my kiddos hold this mic, unlike other mics we have in the house. This will be my go to when we're going places and want to have a natural interview look and feel.

Great audio quality, lightweight, super easy to connect, love the fact that the receiver is right under it so you just unplug it and plug it in your phone, has both gain sensitivity as well as noise reduction, both work great in a live environment, using this to interview people behind the scenes in some LA jams.

I bought this item needing to use it for an interview but the item was delivered late. Curious to see if it even works, I opened it and followed the poorly written instructions that did not work. "It's useless" I thought and initially gave it a one star. There needs to be a video to show to make it work with an android phone. The microphone itself looks professional but it needs to work was my thought. It's a toy was my other thought or I got a defective item. But several YouTube videos later, I decided to try to just test it by recording a video on my phone with the receiver plugged into my phone and voilla it worked! Please make it known that it's as simple as plugging the receiver into your phone & begin recording! I'm happy with the sound and quality.

The convenience of this plug and play model is unmatched. I wish other manufacturers made superior versions of this with a type C connector that allows wireless mic capabilities. Use this to interview Congressman Thomas Massie at a press conference recently came through great. Great value for the dollar. Buying a backup would not be a bad idea in case the battery runs out on this. It's charged by type C into the microphone. So you would need a backup microphone if this one died out.

I ordered this microphone to record interviews on an iPhone 16 (using 24 fps 4K video) in a state fair environment, both indoors and outdoors, where I knew there would be a high volume of background noise to overcome. I know nothing about audio or mics, and was attracted by the simplicity of using this mic with a newer iPhone. I also knew a handheld mic would be far easier to use than a lapel mic (one interview had three people together and they were able to simply pass the mic to each other). I’m very pleased with how easy it is to set up and use, and how effectively the mic restricted unwanted background noise. All interviewees were instructed to hold the mic themselves, about ten inches below their mouth. When the (very loud) drums played intermittently during one interview, everyone thought it would have to be recorded again. While it was true the drums sound faintly in the background, the voice was very clear over them and no re-recording was needed. Another interviewee had such a soft voice that I couldn’t understand a word she said while only six feet away because of ambient crowd noise, and I was delighted by how strong and confident her voice came across using this microphone. The video would have been unacceptable without a mic. I have confidence the limited audio editing iMovie provides will be sufficient to produce a professional-sounding result because this mic worked so well. Highly recommended if you want professional sounding results without having to become an audio pro.

Utter trash. I don't know how people say this is a decent mic; sound quality on the computer was too low, even on high gain, and then on top of that, despite being assured it would work with a lightning adapter, it would not pair. I was really hoping this would work in time for my next video product.

This microphone works amazingly well! It looks so professional for my video shoots, and the sound quality is honestly excellent. One thing I didn't realize was that the flag is actually solid black so you can use it without the Comica logo, and actually put any company's sticker on it. You can also take it off and it still looks professional. I wish I bought this sooner, this is easily one of the best purchases I've made in a while.
