This has been the best ear piece I have ever bought , I have spent a small fortune on trying different options. And as I drive for a living I needed a good set , these tick all the boxes . Great for music an very clear on calls .

This is an unusual design of earbud, which sits outside the ear rather than in it. This makes them more comfortable than the in-ear design, and allows the wearer to hear what's going on around them. They are well suited to someone who is driving, or perhaps walking / running in a busy environment. They are also a good choice for people who don't like having something shoved in their ear, perhaps because they are prone to ear infections. The trade off is the sound quality. Quite frankly, it's terrible. I've reviewed a lot of earbuds and headphones over the last few years, and this is the first pair I've had to turn off because the sound was so bad. There is very little bass response. If you shove the buds into your ear, you do start to hear what they could be like. In the correct wearing position, they are thin-sounding. This encourages the listener to increase the volume, which exaggerates the midrange and grating top end, to the point where it becomes intolerable. There is plenty of clarity, but it's not at all musical. My preferred rock music just turns into a wall of midrangey static. If they are that bad, why have I awarded three stars? Well, I generally reserve one and two stars for products which are defective or unfit for purpose. These are actually very nicely made, nicely presented, and paired easily with my phone. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with them, apart from the disappointing sound. I'm also aware that sound quality is somewhat subjective and depends on the listener's preference of music, ear shape and other factors. Another reviewer might find they suit their requirements well. For example, the poor bass response and exaggerated upper midrange make these earbuds really good for speech reproduction. They are ideal for making phone calls or for listening to audiobooks. They don't work for me, but they do have their place.

I've tried a few pairs of open ear ear phones, mostly have been very disappointing, even from those priced at over £150. I wasn't expecting much from these, but I was pleasantly surprised and they are definitely the best pair of open ear phones I have tried so far. There are two main advantages with these kind of headphones: Advantage: As they do not go into your ear they are comfortable and you wear them all day without noticing Disadvantage: Due to being open ear the sound isn't premium, bass response is poor and sound bleeds in from your surroundings. This is particularly annoying if you are on a bus or a train. Saying that, as stated, they are the best I've tried and the sound is the best I've experienced from open ear phones, but still not quite as good as in-ear buds. Pretty good.

Bought as a present for my partner, he was very happy sound quality (recommended all Edifier products) is great, easy to use and to connect, battery life is really good also and comfortable to wear ideal for those who don’t get on with in ear headphones. Delivery time was super fast so happy all round! Definitely recommend

Poor quality ,shorter then others battery life

One of the best earbuds I have purchased so far. Sounds great and has really good battery life. Was worried about fitment and "clamping" it around my ear, but no issues at all. After a couple of seconds, barely noticeable. Loving it that they are interchangeable, no dedicated left or right bud. Only "issue" is I could not find any EQ setting in the app, but still, the best sounding earbud out of the box. Thank You.

I’m really happy with the Edifier Earbuds. They’re the most comfortable earbuds I’ve ever owned. They connect really reliably to my iPhone and my Apple TV without me having to do anything additional. They will not fall out of your ears cause they’re not in your ears, they’re wrapped around your earlobe, but in a very cool and comfortable way! They sound great and have great battery life too.. I’m really pleased with this purchase.
