Q: What’s the reduction ratio?

The ratio is 1:1. The tractor PTO directly drive the chipper disc rotor.

Q: Does anyone know if it will fit a JD 1025r with iMatch quick hitch, and does the drive shaft need to be cut to fit?

it fits JD iMatch. Not sure if the pto shaft need to be cut or not, it depend on tractor model, normally it doesn't need to be cut.

Q: On an 18hp tractor, what kind of performance do you get? does the unit clog up more because of only having 18hp?

you have to be mindful of the material you drop in. Yes, the chipper will clog if you (like me) put in too many twigs. there are many places where the twigs will get snagged by joints and once that starts to happen, then even the "good" stuff will start to clog the machine. Otherwise, very happy with the chipper there is a limit to the angles it will accept, yes use gloves and glasses your hands do take a beating as you feed in the bigger stuff, but it takes my cedar and pine easily as it takes the oak. Would buy it again.
