Fantastic, economical dehumidifier
We've had this dehumidifer running for a few days to address a damp issue in one of our rooms and it works fantastically well. The instructions are really easy to follow and it was running out of the box within a few minutes (depending on how the unit has been stored before/during delivery you may need to leave the unit stored upright for a few hours to let the gases settle). It's possible to set a humidity level within a range of 40-80% and there's an easy-to-read digital display that counts down until the desired level is reached. The auto-shut off and auto-defrost features are really useful meaning you can leave the dehumidifier running for hours without fear of it overflowing once the water tank is full. We've had the dehumidifier running for approximately 12 hours a day at a cost of around 5p per hour and in that time we've already emptied the water tank 4-5 times. The unit is well-built and sturdy with a convenient carry handle and castor wheels to move the unit around between rooms if required. When the unit is running the fan is quiet enough to be able to watch TV or have a conversation without the noise being overly obtrusive. All in all this is a fantastic dehumidifier that does the job well and is great value for money

An effective dehumidifier for a reasonable price
My partner and I just bought a house that has some leaks/damp and whilst we're trying to fix the root cause, the dehumidifier is working in the background to remove it. Some observations:PROS:- The dehumidifier is effective. When we had a drier house (during the heatwave) less water was being extracted from the walls. Since the rain has restarted, there is a lot more water being extracted. It's clear that it is working, and working well.- The dehumidifier collects water in a little tray in the back. The tray slides out and can easily be emptied.- The dehumidifier is relatively quiet. That is, there is a hum and it's unlikely people would comfortably be able to sleep in the same room as it, but it is not loud enough to hear from a room away, or from above if it is upstairs. (It doesn't create shake the ceiling or anything).- The instructions are really easy to follow for set up and use - there are diagrams that can assist. I always struggle to follow instructions but I had no issue with these.- There are various functions including the humidity/fan speed, a timer and an automatic setting. The latter options allow you to set the dehumidifier and for a specific period or until the tray fills up, which is ideal for when you're out. (It won't overflow)- The dehumidifier comes with a little tube so it is possible to connect it to a bigger container to allow it to drain for longer.- I've left the dehumidifier on for 12 odd hours and it continues to work well and not overheat.- Very lightweight and has a handle on the actual dehumidifier which is incredibly helpful for moving between rooms.CONS:- The tube that comes with the dehumidifier is short (approx 60cm or so I would say). It's not long enough to reach my bathroom/drain so I have had to utilise a large container as a drainage system. The only down side with that is that there isn't a way to 'stop' the drainage, so if you're away, you could risk it overflowing.- I've tried to find replacement tubes but I have not been able to, even on Amazon & in B&Q.- To set up the tube (and the water draining via the tube rathe then the tray) there's a part of the tray you can 'pop out' to fit the tube through. Frustratingly it's incredibly stuck on the dehumidifier that I bought. I've tried using a tool to pop it out, but it risks cracking the remainder of the tray, so I've resorted to just using the tray again.- The wiring isn't all that long too, so depending on the size of the room, an extension cable may be necessary. All in all, it's good value for money and I would recommend it to a friend, but going forward there are some parts that could be addressed to improve it. There are ways around it but if the issues were fixed the product would be even better.

Wow!!!!!
This is absolutely marvellous...I live in a street facing very tall trees though the trees are a good 8ft above the ground on higher ground which means they permanently block your sunlight so therefore when it rains....the house's can't dry out as we don't get any sun (even though it's there)...it's blocked by the trees ....I've lived here for 22years....my gutters get blocked in autumn due to the leaves falling off, all of which the gutters get full.....the rain can't go anywhere.... only over....and down the wall... you know they're full when you have a waterfall coming down your windows and front door...... The kitchen....OMG.... don't get me started.... it's been built with A SINGLE LAYER BRICK.... it's freezing.... there's a gap between my kitchen and next door BUT.... that's not accessible because who ever built these bloody houses didn't give us access to be able to clear the gap of which over many many many years has accumulated ALL the bloody leaves blowing over into the gap getting wetter!!! So therefore i also have a lot of damp up my walls and growing my very own MUSHROOMS!!!!!!!!! (if only it was bacon lol)... but seriously...how embarrassing and disgusted do i feel!!I received this Monday PM.....i plugged it in, switched it on, set it to "auto" , couldn't be any easier......(I'm a YOUNG 55yr old woman on my own).......... I put it in the mushroom kitchen..........it read 96% wet........ By Wednesday ....it had removed 35% moisture,( 61% it read) ....BUT...... that's having it on...on auto... for 14hrs....( 5am - 7.30pm) because it then goes in the front bedroom. So far.... it's removed from the kitchen (on auto....and already off when i get in from work at 2.45pm....empty and restart till 7.30).....an amazing almost....3.5litres.... God knows how much more if I'd have attached the hose......... The kitchen is the worst....In the front bedroom......It read 88% wet (using one of those humidity/temperature gadgets) of which matches the dehumidifier.....(i had that nearest to the front window....the wall that is shaded) ....I plugged it in Tuesday 7.30pm and stood it at the bottom of the bed.......It had reached the FULL......by the time i wake at 4.30am....so i don't know for sure how long that took either......But it had reduced to 74%.... I didn't even have it near that wall as i didn't want to use an extension cable.... so therefore it could've been more. What i did notice was the air...... when i woke to turn over.....it felt purer..... not musty.....It's not overly noisy....but not quiet either....I sleep with earplugs and couldn't hear it....I think you would hear it if you're a light sleeper and don't sleep with earplugs. If you're using in another room then you won't hear it. Sounds are more likely to be noisier in an evening when it's quieter... I can't praise this enough...... It's even made my single brick kitchen warmer....... hopefully no more mushrooms... It's so easy to use AND empty...... It's not the lightest to carry especially if you're up and downstairs with it like me but at least it has castors to wheel it about. Absolutely fantastic. It's about the size of your overhead luggage case.... great compact size with an attitude.....Thumbs up

Easy to work, looks neat and works very well
Great dehumidifier for my daughters bedroom in the loft which has velux windows and it works a treat , only thing I can say as a slight negative is that it’s a bit noisy as in you can hear it running but it doesn’t bother my daughter
