Good affordable entry into 3D printing!
This is a great printer for first time 3D printer users. This one actually wasn't my first, but I can say this printer is far easier to use than the Ender 3 I started with years ago. It's coreXY, prints pretty fast, and is easy to calibrate and use. No manual bed leveling. That's all automatic and also has input shaping and temperature calibration which is really very good for a printer in this price range. The nozzles are easily interchangeable, they just snap out. Some people may be turned off by the fact that the nozzle cartridges are proprietary, but they aren't very expensive. They're actually the nozzle and hot end in one assembly. So every time you swap the cartridge you get a new hot end too. I have yet to have to replace one after months of use, but I bought extras so that I can use a different nozzle for each filament type. I have printed PLA, PETG, ABS, and ASA with this printer. It can in theory print Nylon (PA) and Polycarbonate (PC) but those may be more difficult to use in this printer because it does not have a heated chamber. Even so, since it is enclosed the bed will heat the chamber via convection so it's worth a shot. Either way, for the price this printer does so much more than I expected. Support is also decent. It is based in China and so they may take a day to respond but they do respond, and they quickly sent me a replacement part without hassle when I needed it. Is the printer perfect? No, but it's probably the best you'll get for the price, and I am very satisfied with it. I would buy another one in a heartbeat, and in fact I'm looking into buying their multicolor printer next, the AD5X. Unbeatable value, and I highly recommend!

Easy and fun to use
We got this for our son for Christmas. He absolutely loves it. He set it up quickly and been steadily printing things. The print quality is excellent and accurate although some prints require adhesion on the plate which is provided. It really is a great printer.

Very beginner friendly and easy to use
I am brand new to 3D printing and I absolutely love this printer! It was fast and easy to set up and very user friendly. I had one issue early on where the filament jammed in the nozzle and I had some trouble removing it (even after going to youtube for help). However, I was able to clear it and its been running great since. Make sure to have it on a very sturdy surface as it does shake a lot while printing. However, I think that is normal. I've also gotten compliments already on the print quality of the things I have printed using this machine.

My 11-Year-old Son loves it!
I bought this for my son’s 11th birthday after he had been asking for it for a long time. He absolutely loves it and uses it every day to print whatever he wants. His older brother is 14, and they constantly fight over who gets to use it more. This machine is fantastic and surprisingly accurate, I’m honestly amazed at what they create each day. We previously used a Toybox model, but this one is on a completely different level. We also tried an Ender 3 printer from Amazon and ended up returning it because it felt outdated, had an old-style display, and had poor device compatibility. This Flashforge has been a huge upgrade and is a great choice for beginners (I can’t speak for professionals, but for us it’s been perfect). The only downside is connectivity. You can only connect using a PC or laptop, not a tablet or mobile device which is quite annoying. Also, kids aren’t allowed to download the software (I don't know why?), so they have to use my laptop to print. Aside from that, it’s a must-have for anyone starting out in 3D printing

The worst printer ever.
I made two mistakes in buying this FlashForge printer. #1 was buying the printer at all and #2 waiting to open the box until a special day which was outside of 30 days of purchase. My son (20) ran through the setup and when finished he tried to print the little boat file included on the printer. Before it even started printing, the print head ground into and scratched the base plate and broke the print head. I emailed the company and they said they would not replace the printer because it was outside of 30 days. Okay that’s their policy. After some more communication, they sent me a new print head, base plate, and new scale components that they felt were faulty. After replacing said parts, the printer still fails its calibration tests and the printer bed still will not level. I asked for my money back, but they insist that is only an option within 30 days of purchase. I’m six weeks in from opening the box now and more parts are supposedly being shipped. Now, after waiting nine days, I finally received a tracking number for a leveling sensor. Hopefully it will get here quicker than two weeks, like the last shipment. We’ve had the printer more than three months, almost two out of the box and haven’t printed a single thing.

Crazy easy to use and fast printing
Update 2, changing to 4 stars because the issue I was having with it jamming over and over again seemed to happen for a specific print, and since I stopped trying to do that print I have not had issues. UPDATE. Filament feeder started jamming right after I submitted my previous review. I have fixed it twice, and it just did it again. You have to take apart the mechanism that feeds the filament to fix. It takes me about 15-20 minutes to fix (thanks to youtube tutorials), but given that it seems to be jamming every other print is going to make this thing unusable for my kids who i bought it for. This thing is absolutely incredible. My daughter loves those 3d printed dragons and animals and begged me for a 3d printer. Grabbed this one on sale to give her for Christmas, and OMG it is so easy to use. I have never used a more intuitive, user friendly piece of equipment in my life. We were printing quality articulated dragons and snakes on day one! I only got the pro version in case my husband wanted to do prints with something other than PLA. I will definitely be buying the multicolor one next. :)

Prodotto ottimo, appena l'ho tirato fuori dalla scatola era già pronto all'uso. Io ho preso la versione senza webcam interna, ma è comunque un prodotto molto interessante. Unica nota è l'assenza del supporto per bobine non originali, ma ho trovato facilmente e gratuitamente su Internet diverse versioni del supporto che ho stampato da me.

Speed and print quality are both phenomenal. Bed adhesion has been perfect when the bed temperature is set correctly first layers have been great. Also really impressed with the support flashforge has shown for this printer adding many features and accessories since I purchased. The only downside to this printer is how loud it is, the heatsink fan is much louder than it needs to be as the airflow slots in the print head create a lot of turbulence. The part cooling fan is also a monster and the loudest part of the entire machine. I would recommend the bambu lab A1 mini over this if you're looking for a desktop printer unless you really really need that extra 4cm print volume in each axis.

Read the reviews to this before buying it, and thought for the price why not. Straight out of the box, undo the retaining bolts for the bed insert the LCD display (which is a fiddly ribbon cable) and basically your are off. The included filament is good quality, but needs to be wound on to something, as it's loose and knots up. So its worth using a spooled filament. The prints I am getting are faultless, auto bed leveling is amazing (this is the first one I've had with it). Heats up very quick. Prints really fast. Certainly worth the purchase, for me anyway.
