We love salt ands pepper grinder over shakers. We can use assorted salt and pepper types the suit our tastes, and especially with pepper. Fresh ground pepper is just he best with its intense flavor, it is far superior to ground pepper. We have gone through a lot of grinders over the years, but these seem to be the last ones we will ever need to buy. They look nice, are lighter than previous grinders, are super easy to fill, they grind easily and have a very consistent grind. We set the grind level to our liking, and they perform great. These even have a lifetime grinding mechanism guarantee. That alone is a good enough reason to buy them. All of our past grinder mechanism's have failed. Some after just a few months of use. If you are looking for a great set of durable grinders, these may be the last ones you ever buy. I give them 5 stars.

This salt and pepper grinder set is not only beautiful, they really work well. Their size makes them very easy to hold and operate. Both are grinders and have easy to adjust settings from fine to different levels of courseness to suit everyone's personal taste. Refilling is very easy, simply pull the top off and add course salt or peppercorns without having to unscrew anything. This set adds an elegant touch to your table and is very well made and durable. It also comes with a lifetime warranty.

These salt and pepper mills work really well. They are easy to use and adjust the grind settings. The size of the granules is very consistent. You don't get big and small granules mixed together like my old grinder. You can grind a large amount very quickly. I'm very happy with them so far. I hadn't planned on spending so much for grinders. But, if they continue to work this well and last a long time, they will be well worth the price.

Fantastic quality. A lifetime investment in a kitchen staple. Buy it for life. Does it right every time, fully adjustable. Beautiful styling, perfect functionality. Put it in the will cuz the kids will be fighting over ‘em. Worth the price. Seriously.

Great quality, but make sure to be careful when picking up the holder. They fall out pretty easily.

I purchased these grinders because the technology seemed to make sense. I have used many tabletop units before and had so many fail to work after a while. These have a ceramic grinder for the salt and steel grinder for the peppercorns. The quality of the grind is spectacular and precise. The overall quality and feel is noticeably better than units half the price. The pepper grinder is probably the most impressive, in that, the steel grinds so much cleaner than other ceramic types and it doesn't clog or fail to operate. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend the brand and model (in particular).

I did research prior to buying this mill set and knew it was exactly what I wanted. While the price tag is slightly higher than a run-of-the-mill set, I doubt you would regret this purchase. The set is exactly what we wanted: easy to use (and to refill), efficient, multiple coarseness settings, beautiful, and solid without being too heavy. What we didn’t expect was how delicious the pepper would be. We are definitely going to be looking into Cole & Mason Spices. Not that it matters from a daily use perspective, but the packaging was gorgeous. It made us feel a bit like we were receiving a luxury item, but that would have meant nothing if it weren’t for the quality, beauty, and function of the mill set. We have had it for a few weeks and despite not being the people who try to buy happiness, we are still commenting on how much we enjoy it during each meal. This may be in part because we believe in finding gratitude for simple things — but also because it is so nice to be able to make a purchase that adds that extra touch of joy such a small price.
