I used this product to install brake caliper covers , once it dried the covers aren't going anywhere. I've been driving the car around for a week before writing this review and no issues.

***NOT PAINTABLE IN 30 MINUTES*** This seam sealer is awesome, But not paintable in 30 minutes! I replaced some panels on a car and used this sealer for weld and cut seams and the application was so easy, This stuff is very controllable and uses a standard calking gun. I would HIGHLY recommend this product and I will definitely use it again, This is a great product. I don't have any input on longevity yet but I don't think there will be a problem. ***NOTE*** This sealer needs time to cure (I would say 3-4 days) before painting with rustoleum paint or the paint will take days or weeks to dry. It stays tacky for a long time!

Personally recommend using it once, and use it as thin as you can, flows smoothly, levels well, corrects well. Cartridge itself does not specify shelf life "once it's been used" the website discusses testing for reuse as if hard or a laying a sample bead and won't skin over at proper time toss it. I noticed upon trying to "reuse" 4 days later it looked and flowed the same and layed it to match a factory thick height and width and inside of bead did not cure after 12 hours.

I was expecting this sealer to be like the old wax like sealer they used back in the 60s and 70s, that stuff did very well on my 58 year old Camaro. It is more like a silicone when it dries but it is much more dense and harder than silicone but still pliable to expand and contract with the metal. So I'm happy with it even though its not what I expected, it very wel may be better than the old stuff.

I drive an old 1999 vehicle. I didnt want to spend a load of money to repair a water leak in the back windshield seal; because lets face it. She is old and one day may not drive anymore so i want to picky my repair battles wisely. This stuff worked GREAT. No longer do i have a leaky back window. And im pretty sure i used this 6 months ago (it could honestly be 8 months ago if im being entirely honest) and its still holding strong whereas alternatives i had used stopped doing the job within weaks.
