A must in any home library
Whether one is in the medical field or not, no library should be short of these volumes. I lent mine and were not returned and for a length of time I felt, practically, unprotected by the missing books in my shelf. I feel complete, with my darlings now that the Rosen's arrived: volumes I & II of Rosen's and Gray's Anatomy being the number three. We ought to know the structure of our bodies, and the procedures of repair when broken. We will feel more confident in choosing the proper professional when in need, if we have and idea of what needs to be done!!

but I love having it on my desk for reference
This classic isn't cheap, but I love having it on my desk for reference. Having already read the bulk of Tintinalli's during residency, I enjoy having this somewhat more detailed reference text. The excellent summaries and the pictures/tables all in full color are great. And as an added bonus, it includes access to the full text online and/or from your tablet or smart phone (which is a good thing because these two massive volumes are not at all portable!)

Kindle version includes online access.
Had a look around, no indication whether online access would be included with Kindle version. After having purchased the book via Kindle, I am happy to share that there is extra access via Expertconsult.com 4 stars because I still prefer reading and highlighting from paper. Portability and access is unmatched but I am finding it hard navigating across a large reference book.

Doesn't include full Expertconsult access!
Downloading the Kindle version only gave me online access to the multimedia resources (basically one chapter) on the Elsevier Inkling iOS app. There is not full access to the book online (outside of Kindle). I thought this was included based on the description and the reviews. Not a huge deal - the kindle version is fine but I have several other books on Inkling and was hoping to have Rosen included with them. I called Elsevier and they confirmed that the Kindle version does not grant full online access.

The actual textbook is a great reference. I enjoy the Kindle version because it ...
I noted that the online access was available with the Kindle version. I went through the process and was surprised to see that I only have 3 chapters available online. The rest Expert Consult wants me to pay for. I thought that I would have access to the full version. Does anyone else have this problem? The actual textbook is a great reference. I enjoy the Kindle version because it is so portable.

Exemplary
An asset to all providers of Emergency Medicine. Extensively comprehensive, intelligible, as well as immensely invaluable as a medical reference. A true essential for your library!

This is a perfect companion for emergency physician. Online access is easy, however navigation is slightly tricky and would not allow you to go back to same page directly.
