The Horses in My Life

This book is beautifully put together and well written. It's a touching and intriguing memoir in the form of short stories that connect together seamlessly. Monty Roberts is a one in a million trainer and remarkable human being. I love how he relays not only the stories behind key horses in his life, but reflects upon what each taught him. When considering the horses and situations, we as readers can learn too. Powerful book, it's one that will stay in my collection forever.

I like everything from start to finish.He is one of my favorite authors.

I've read many of his books. They're all amazing. He did so much for horses. And it's cool to read stories about all of the horses that touched him.

I chose this rating because I really enjoyed reading about horses that Monty has trained. I would recommend this book to any horse lover.

I bought this book for my Grandmother for mothers day as she is an avid rider. I couldnt help myself and read it when it arrived before I gave it to her. I didnt know very much about Monty Roberts before reading it. What an amazing man! His stories were both interesting and captivating. He really provides insight into the world of horses. I would love to see him in action. Im sure my grandmother is going to love this book.

Great book!

I LOVE Monty Roberts and his theories, favorite book is From My Hands to Yours. This was a bit slow, redundant, and I wish it went more into the exercises he used on some of them. He did tell about the race horse "blankets" for when they go into the starting gate and a few other nostaligic stories, but I didn't care for this book as much as some of his other teaching books

Book very helpful

As with all Monty Roberts' books, an amazing book you cant put down. If all people treated horses the way Monty Roberts does, the world would be a better place. Read of his kindness and caring ways even if you are not interested in horses.... you will still learn things that can be applied to every day life for anyone.

C'est un cadeau à l'une de mes filles. Je ne peux donc pas en parler mais je pense qu'elle a beaucoup aimé ayant elle-même expérimenté les méthodes de Monty également dans le Montana.

If you want to be at one with your horse follow montys ways. Each book you read will give you a better understanding of what you're horse is saying

Love the book and in great condition..

Love the book but softback does not have any photos in it like the hardback one. If I had known that, I would have bought the hardback book.
