Dorman 911-236 Vapor Canister Purge Valve Compatible with Select Models

Bought for my truck. Fixed the problem . Worked great.

Hoses went on no problem. The electrical connector was a bit of a pain but got everything hooked up and immediately cleared the check engine light.

It fit perfectly with my vehicle and resolved the emission issues efficiently. The quality is solid, and it was easy to install.

Product is good, seller is legit. I have HD no problems so far.

Easy install and everything fit correctly

The purge valve didn’t fit properly on my vehicle, even though it was listed as compatible. It started malfunctioning within a few weeks, and I had to replace it again. Disappointing quality and a waste of money.

Bought this thinking faulty gas cap seemed too random. It was easy to install, worked initially. Then engine light came back on after a day. Bought a new gas cap and now it is "on again, off again".

Getting the clips off the fittings was the hardest part. Horizontal side, one blue clip has to come out and press the white clip in and press the valve down then gently pull up. Vertical side, red clip and same removal. Wiring, push red clip to the opposite side then gently lift the locking clip up. Pull out. The mount piece, gently push towards the valve and opposite when you lock it in place. Don’t know if this was part of my evap issue but it’s done now and now no check engine light.
