Read this if having trouble programming
Took me a couple of tries, but then I figured out what the remote was doing and why it wouldn't program. First off... keep in mind that this is a UNIVERSAL remote that can work with a variety of units. As a result, it has to cycle through a series of program codes until it finds the one that works for your unit (much like programming a universal TV remote). Once I started thinking of it in this manner, the instructions made perfect sense and I easily programmed the unit for both of my garage door openers. So here's my version of this instructions, that I hope will help you. 1) Start with the garage door closed. I don't think this really matters, other than it's probably safer that way so you don't accidentally bonk someone on the head when the garage door starts to close. :) 2) Press AND HOLD the bottom button on the remote for approximately 15 seconds (the instructions say 10 seconds, but it's really closer to 15). Once you start pressing the button a blue light will start flashing. After 15 seconds the light will stop flashing and turn solid blue*. Once it is solid blue, release the button. 3) Press and release the learn button on your door opener unit. For my garage door openers I only need to press the button once to enter "learn" mode, but for yours you may need to press the button twice. Follow instructions for your unit. 4) On the remote control, press the button you wish to program - twice. Once you do this it will start sending a series of pre-programmed codes to your door opener unit.** When it starts cycling through the various codes it will blink rapidly for a second... then it will take a brief pause and then start cycling through the next code. So on and so on. When it finally hits the jackpot and your garage door starts to open, you know that you have found the correct code for your unit. When that happens... 5) Immediately hit the button on the remote again (the one you want to program). This will confirm the correct code and it should now work with your opener. NOTE: * The first time I tried to program the unit, the light flashed blue for 15 seconds and then went out (it did not turn solid blue as it was supposed to). I tried it again and the same thing happened. On the third attempt it blinked blue and then went out, so I just continued with the programming instructions as if it had turned solid blue and it worked fine. When I went to program my second garage door opener, the blue light DID turn solid blue as it was supposed to. ** On the second garage door opener I tried to program, when I executed step 4 above (pressed the remote button twice), it blinked rapidly (sending the first code) and then stopped. It just sat there for several seconds and did nothing. Finally I pressed the button on the remote one more time and it continued cycling through the program codes until it finally found the one that opened my door. Then I immediately pressed the button again to confirm the program. It worked fine after that.

Great replacement for the bulky garage opener
Somewhat easy to get connected, but like that it is compact and works well once connected

Perfect fit for Chamberlain door openers
Works great. Took a few attempts to match second door to fob, but don’t give it, after finding correct code. Helpful hints go to Dr. distortion from June 10 2023 to give clues to assist in programming. Once codes are found, doors worked flawlessly.

Great little remote garage door opener
Great little remote garage door opener! Got this for my son to use with his motorcycle as he doesn't have room to clip on the remote. Fits right on the key chain. Easy to use and set up! Value is good as well.

Chamberlain keychain remote
Works great once you get it programmed! Programming this remote can be frustrating! One button programmed right away, but the other took several tries over 2 days and quite a bit of frustration to get it to work! When it did finally program I was pleased with how well it worked and with the size, I put it on my golf cart keychain so I could get that in and out of the garage without having a larger remote bouncing around in the cup holder. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I went with this because of the keychain size.

If you ride on two wheels, and use a garage, get this one.
Solid build. Grippy coating on buttons. This remote is EASY to program for one or two doors. The instructions are basically accurate, but Remember to press the bottom button until the led is SOLID(between 10-15 seconds, not just 10), then, once you’ve completed the next steps and linked the remote to the opener and the door begins opening, you may need to press the appropriate button once OR twice to close it initially(not just once). Then it’s ready to rock. It took me 8 minutes to program both buttons for garage, and workshop, including carrying the ladder from one to the other. My GF and I both ride bikes, motorcycles, mopeds 90% of the time, and need to keep a remote in an accessible, secure location on our person, backpack strap, etc. We’ve had issues in the past with the larger clip type Chamberlain openers(clik5u-great remote), where the buttons accidentally depressed while in a pocket or carrier pouch- accidentally opening a door on the workshop when I couldn’t see it. No bueno. In the past, I’ve seen this happen via our security cameras from over a block away, or while inside the house. We started putting them in small, hard plastic cases, and put the case in a zipped pocket or carrier pouch to avoid this. Total pain. Also, when returning home late at night, now it’s far safer and convenient to be able to access the smaller mc100-p2 and open a door to ride in without stopping and fumbling to get a “normal” remote out of secured pouch, then case. Game changer. With this model, while riding, we can keep it safely on an exterior mounted key chain or caliper, in a variety of locations, without worry that it will open a door while leaving. This is a huge peace of mind. I’m getting one for each of us. The normal, larger type are great for clipping to our vehicle’s visor, as intended, but for EDC, on two wheels, this is the one to get.

Great alternative
I bought this remote for it's ability to be conveniently be carried on my key chain. It is smaller than many automobile fobs. It has a simple two button configuration so that it can be programmed for more than one door. Programming was very easy. Hardest part was getting a ladder out so I could reach the pairing button on the Liftmaster unit mounted on the garage ceiling. Reason for getting this was that there has been a rash of break-ins in our area, where the theives break-in to the car to get to the garage door opener and gain access to the garage and steal bicycles, power tools, etc. This remote allows me to carry the opener with me and not leave it in the car. Pretty handy. The one problem is that in my pocket, there is potential to accidentally activate the remote. This has happened only once, closing the garage while I was working in the yard. A better design would provide some sort of protection against this possibility, perhaps requiring a double press of the button. Still, I am very happy with this product. It is well made and sized for personal carry.

Excelente!
