Bought during the heatwave in May.My poor dog was panting constantly and was only really happy outside on the damp grass! Not ideal at 3am.I saw these reviewed and thought that I would give it a try.I needed a large one as my GSD is quite a big lad and this was one of the largest that I could find.As soon as I opened it out and put it on the floor he lay on it immediately, loves it!It seems to be quite robust but you would need to be careful not to puncture it.It wipes clean with a damp cloth, easy to keep clean.I would caution against using on a laminate floor unless it is of the waterproof variety, it does form condensation on the side in connection with the floor when in use.Overall, it does what it is supposed to and my dog uses it a lot.Oh, and its great for cooling your own feet on after a long walk on a hot day!

There were quite a few to choose from with various levels of ratings and reviews and price .I chose to go with this one because of the price really, it had no reviews at the time. It is brilliant, highly recommend. I have a Cocker Spaniel and he easily fits on this sprawled out. It is very effective, you can feel the cold it you put pressure on it, the dog loves it when he is panting away very hot he will go and lay on it. The first time I put him on it he was a bit curious and not sure, I got him to lay down and he didn't move for just over 2 hrs. You can put a towel over it as well to take the cold level down a little. You can also use it your self to cool down - lay on it in garden or sit on it, it works for everyone. Recommends 2- 3hrs of coolness then your need to recharge which is basically get the dog of it for 20 mins and it is ready to go again.I have to say this as there are idiots out there still I'm afraidTHIS IS NOT TO BE USED TO KEEP YOUR DOG IN THE CAR FOR A FEW MINUTES ETC THINKING HE WILL BE FINE. THERE IS NO EXCUSE OR TOOL THAT WILL KEEP A DOG SAFE IN A CAR FOR ANY AMOUNT OF TIME IN HOT WEATHER.

So far so good though I think in very hot temperatures not sure how affective it is. But pup likes it. I like how easily it folds so it’s compact for storage/ travel. Nice product

I bought this to replace an old cool mat (a different make) which had never really felt noticeably cool & I think my dog used it more because it was where she wanted to lay down, than the fact it cooled her down. This new mat is great though. It's quite "squashy" which makes it nice & padded for her when she lays on it, plus it really does get noticeably cooler when you press on it. I bought the XL (120x75cm) version which is the right size for our dog (she's a 50kg Bouvier des Flandres). It's not very heavy, folds up to a small square if needed & her nails don't catch on it. She seems to approve & lays on it after walks or when it's warm, so I'm happy. I'd recommend this mat although if your dog is a chewer you'll have to keep an eye on them. It's non-toxic filling, but feels quite full of gel so think it would make a mess if punctured.

Bought this large cooling mat for my small dog! My sister has a smaller one for her dog and hers is well used. My little dog is nervous and it has been difficult to get him to stay on the mat, but that is him. In regard to the effectiveness of the mat, I found it cooling for myself when sitting on it and also used it for some pilates moves! So yes, I would recommend it, especially as we seem to be having this prolonged hot spells in the UK. After all, it should last a good long time with careful use and is fully waterproof and cleanable.

During the hot period it was hard for my malamute to be kept cool however upon buying this its been a breeze.This doesn't require me putting anything in the freezer or in the fridge - it's cool to the touch and my malamute absolutely loves it's now that he has realised it will keep him cool.It took a week for him to really get comfortable on it and now we can't get him off!

These cooling mats do a job for most dogs, but I have a large German Shepherd and after constant use the cells burst and flood liquid over the floor.I'm sure they'll be fine for smaller dogs, say less than 35 kilos, just be aware that big dudes and dudettes pile some pressure on those things and they dont last, at least in my situation.They are also very difficult to clean. Especially if your hairy buddy likes playing outside. The mess piles up quickly on these mats and takes some effort to clean off the thick material. Just a heads up.I'm going to have to get a new one but I'll give this brand a miss.He's wandering round looking for his old one.

Purchased this a week or so ago in preparation for the heat wave to see if our dogs would use it before I purchased lots (we do dog home boarding) and on opening box it was quite heavy substancial and I put it on floor then put my foot on it and it immediately went cold. However it took 24hrs of being on the floor surrounded by comfy dog sofas and dog blankets and the cool stone floor before surprise surprise my old 11yr very hairy VERY fussy boy suddenly thought he would try it out and that was it - his favourite bed ever since. Even today with the cold weather and heavy rain outside he is still choosing to go on it. Saying that none of my/our boarders have had chance to try it. I did read that you have to beware of young dogs chewing such beds which can be dangerous if filling is swallowed but this is excellent quality not like some we have seen and read up on. But saying that I would be reluctant to leave it on the floor un supervised with young dogs in case!!!!

Eine Matte hat der Hund, auf der anderen schlafe ich an heißen Tagen... Kann ich echt nur empfehlen!!! Die Matte kühlt übrigens ca. 20-30 min einen Erwachsenen etwas ab.😁
