Updating this review - seller responded promptly to my review and gave a full refund without asking for the product back. Appreciate their response. I thought the fact that this was rolled would be better than folded to avoid creasing, but it was compressed so badly on the edges it’s completely unusable. I’ve had it laid out a week and it still hasn’t decompressed itself. The foam is permanently flattened and creased. Color is fine, texture is fine.

Product came pack is neatly, creases only on the very ends of the roll. This roll was at least 25% bigger than I needed, it’s a good thing because there’s creases on the edges. No need to iron. The look of the fabric is better than expected after applied. The prep is 90% of the Work, make sure the backer board is clean of all old foam. When applying be careful to do a small section at a time when gluing it-to the backer board/headliner. As you won’t be able to pull it up and reposition it; I made a small mistake at the beginning. Take your time & plan ahead with contours. I should have started in the middle and work your way out, keeping the overall position where you want it; 1 small section at a time!

I love this fabric. Matched the old headliner color well (1999 Dodge Ram mist gray). Unless you are a pro, do not attempt to reupholster your headliner alone or you will get tears, creases, or stretched too tight to mold to contours. The headliner fabric needs to be suspended in the air while you smooth out inch by inch the contact points. Using 3M headliner adhesive, you have NO opportunity to readjust once the foam contacts your headliner backer. Any attempt to pull away new headliner fabric/foam, you WILL tear the foam from the fabric. Basic universal principle.

Liteweight, glue will soak thru if not dry. too thin for automotive headliner.
