Works very well. No clogging & simple
Works extremely well. Much better then the chamber type applicators which clog with every use. Slip this under bottom board screen and a few minutes later your OA has vaporized into the hive. Let it cool down a minute or two and you’re ready to go again.

Works!
Works great. Read the directions and study up some the reputable educational sites about OAV. From reading about other units it might be a bit slower than some, took 3 minutes to start vaporizing and just over 4 minutes to finish. Be aware the metal part of the handle gets and stays very hot. It’ll hold a full tsp of the OA easily. I’ve only used it about 14 times I think, only have 2 hives plus new swarm moved in during the treatment sequence (not broodless here in South Florida), so can’t really speak to durability but it seems “medium duty”. Considering the price of other mite treatments it doesn’t have to last that long to be competitive. Of course OAV is slow, this is a review of the vaporizer not the treatment method. Maybe they should offer 3 or 4 packs of these for larger-scale beekeepers. Edit: have used it several dozen times over a few years and it still works. One caveat is that the exposed positive “hot” end of the heating plug can short out if it contacts any metal parts inside the hive such as a screen bottom board, I had to add some high-temp electrical tape to mine. If it seems like it’s not heating sometimes this could be the reason.

High quality, worked great & a good price too.
I have used many oxalic acid vaporizers before, but I was impressed with the quality of the manufacturing. This one is much better than the beekeeping club's that I have used before. I would recommend this for anyone. My only complaint is that I used my lawn tractor to treat the hives, and the cords were not quite long enough, so I needed to move the tractor for each hive I treated. If I had taken the battery out of the tractor, it would have been fine.

Works great, but likely needs slight modification.
I was able to use the fogger successfully on one hive and I could see the vapors coming out of cracks. I let it cool and went to do the second hive, and it never reached the full top temperature. One of the wires does look melted, so it might have shorted out. I may just replace the wires and give it another go. It's a simple tool. The wires heat a glow plug, which in turn heats the aluminum cup holding the oxalic acid. As long as the wires can carry the current to the glow plug, it will get hot. So there is clearly a problem with the wiring. Update: I re-ran the main wire going to the glow plug so it doesn't come in contact with the main bar. I also took out the melted part of the wire. I believe the wire was pinched the first time and shorted out. The rewire seems to have corrected the problem. I will update as I continue to use it. So four stars for solid machining of the aluminum pieces and solid design. One star deduction for wiring issue. Update 9/15/20: I have now used this vaporizer multiple times with great success. It is a simple design made of quality material. Just rewire it to keep the wires from getting too hot. My 12v 7amp battery was just not quite enough, but the 12v 9amp has done great! It consistently vaporized 1/2 tsp in 5 minutes start to finish.

Stopped working after five treatments - hoping for customer support response
I followed the instructions to do a test run and learn how ling it will actually take to vaporize 1/4 tsp of oxalic acid. It took a little over 5 minutes. The instructions say it should take 2-5, depending on conditions. So I wasn't worried. I did an initial treatment on 4 hives, which means 5 total uses, each time taking a little over 5 minutes to complete. Today I went to do the second treatment and found it was taking substantially longer to vaporize the same quantity of OA. The first hive took upwards of ten minutes. The second hive took a little long. I figured maybe my battery needed to be charged so I connected it to the battery on my running lawn tractor with a verified consistent voltage of 12.8v. Even still, the third hive took close to 15 minutes. On the fourth hive I pulled the vaporizer out at 15.5 minutes only to find OA in the tray with minimal active vaporization. Something is clearly wrong. Since I bought it at the end of February so I'd have everything in hand when my new hives and Nucs arrived (Nucs were delayed by MD weather conditions until mid-May), the return window has long since closed. Now all I can di is hope Varomorus support will provide some assistance. If they do help me, I'll absolutely update this review! I need to do the third and final treatment a week from today so they only have a few days to make things right or I have to buy a replacement from another vendor. Attached picture is of the incomplete vaporization after more than 15 minutes on a fully charged battery. I think the charred color is from low-temp operation. The photo doesn't show the light fuming that persisted for another several couple before I finally disconnected it an scraped it all out. Yes, it was clean when I started and all of the wires are in good shape. Not sure if it matters but my infrared thermometer showed a wide temperature range across different parts of the tray. The backside was anywhere between 180 and 240 deg. The temp in the pan was a little over 400 deg. The manual says the operating temperature is 482 deg., well above any temp I'm getting now. For comparison sake, I wish I had checked the temp when I used it the first time.

Highly variable
Highly variable times to burn through the OA. I would do test runs to time it and it would never match up inside the hive. Also, does NOT fit in the Flow Hive entrance, you have to use the back door (lol) aka the tray slot. Didn’t seem very effective.

Well we are desperate to treat our hives, waited over 2 weeks for delivery. It arrived and didn’t work - it wouldn’t heat up. So we are very disappointed and could lose our bees while waiting for a replacement. Not happy ☹️☹️

Very Sturdy, Excellent Quality, and works every time. Battery cables are long enough for what I need it for. I would highly recommend this product.

Love it. Plugged to a good battery, works really good. The only downside, since we do the acid before winter in cold weather, electrical wire with better cold flexibility would be REALLY enjoyable.
