an out-and-out game changer for everyone from DIYers to seasoned pros. I’ve used lots of laser measurers, but the dual laser heads on this one are a real time saver as you can instantly capture two directions, and that adds up when you set layouts or work on bigger projects. Precision is great, it measures accurately every time within ±2mm and the electronic spirit level just ensures your measurements are perfectly straight. I’ve found the Pythagorean function particularly useful for taking quick measurements indirectly. The LCD screen shows a nice big readout and displays in bright, clear light and even in the darker parts of my shop. It offers storage for up to 30 measurements so I never have to stop mid-project to make notes. It’s also relatively light and well-sized for one-handed use, and it is easy to carry around a site. Another great thing about it is the rechargeable battery and we have used hundreds of measurements and not had to recharge. The construction seems sturdy and has held up well to everyday use. All in all, it’s a good, accurate and versatile tool I’d recommend for home renovators all the way to precision requiring contractors on the run.

It's great for the money! I'm happy and would buy it again. Improvements they need: Would it be so hard to make the angle measurement a full-fledged feature rather than just a quantified spirit level? Why doesn't it have integrated lens covers? And why is the bag they give you to store it not labeled? It just looks like a pair of sunglasses in a pouch. And finally: put a metal edge on two sides of it. As the plastic case wears away it's going to cut in to the accuracy. You could even have a ruler on the metal edge... You're welcome.

Good product. Easy to use, Decent cost

This thing exceed my expectations. I haven’t tried all the modes yet but the leveler is on point and the end to end measurement is excellent. Really cool tool.

For taking single measurements, this device is easy to use and seems to be as accurate as my name brand laser measurer. However, the other functions leave some room for improvement. When I attempted to use the continuous measurement feature, the tool constantly beeped even when in a stable position, and the angle readout constantly fluctuated with a range of a few degrees. I also noticed that the led indicator showing the mode and intended laser direction did not match what the device was doing. I reached out to KIPRIM customer service via their portal here on Amazon and they were very responsive. After a few emails they responded by saying: 1. The design of the continuous measurement mode is like this. As long as the continuous measurement mode is turned on, the beep will be turned on, which is to remind the user that it is still measuring continuously. 2. The electron level (angle indicator) is very sensitive, and some vibrations generated by the buzzer may be affected. 3. In the maximum and minimum mode, there is indeed a problem with the display direction and laser direction of the instrument you receive. We will check all inventory and make sure that all subsequent products do not have this problem. I would not recommend at this time.

Works really well and for the price you can't go wrong battery life is great as well great over all item to buy.

The price for this is an amazing deal if you can overcome the display options. When I'm working I have a preference that it show me inches and the fraction. I could not find a way to switch it's so that it would display the desired format. I was able to switch it to meters and inches with a decimal but not inches with a fraction. It's super lightweight and kind of flimsy feeling like it's poorly made, but when tested next to other laser tapes that I've got it displayed the same measurements. Again other than the display and the fact that it feels super cheap it seems to be a really good deal.

Je suis très contente de ce télémètre. Il est facile à utiliser, vraiment intuitif, même pour quelqu’un qui n’y connaît pas grand-chose. Les mesures sont rapides et précises, l’écran est clair et on comprend vite comment s’en servir. Il est léger, tient bien en main et pratique pour mes petits travaux de maison. Très bon rapport qualité-prix, je ne regrette pas mon achat !

Lecture très instable et peu précise. Erreur très régulière lors des mesures. Un gadget sans trop d'intérêt.

I was indeed challenged by wife after purchasing this item. It was the usual “what do you need that for”. I wasn’t quick enough with my answer because I hadn’t had the opportunity to use it. As a retired surveyor we often went out from the office in pairs to measure rooms internally or parts of buildings externally. As there were two of use the person who held the starting end of a tape used to call it “the daft end” because no further thought was required jotting down a measurement or winding it in for the next measurement. If you are on your own you can, with one of these laser measurement devices, do both jobs. No-one at the other end of a tape being told where to hold it. This, for me, was the perfect solution for measuring a distance where it might be awkward to hook on the tape before pulling it taught. My greatest danger from now on will be forgetting that I have it and picking up the traditional tape measure.
