I really like this. Easy to apply and gives you a nice even tan. No streaking and the color looks very natural. Initially smells great but then develops into that fake tan odor. Still a great product that does the job!

How cute is this packaging!? I've been using this tanning gel for two summers and it's the best affordable one I've tried. Better than getting a spray tan as well. It doesn't have that orange tone to it on my pasty white skin. It looks like a sun kissed (artificial) tan. I mentioned artificial because nothing really beats a natural glow, but some of us cannot achieve that, so!

This was my first time self-tanning in over 15 years, and I was honestly nervous—but this B.Tan gel made it so easy. The application was smooth, beginner-friendly, and completely streak-free, which I did not expect at all. The color turned out beautiful, natural-looking, and best of all—it’s buildable, so you can deepen your tan without it looking patchy or uneven. The face mist is also AMAZING. Pro tip: after applying, lightly buff your face, neck, and ears with a big fluffy makeup brush. I did the same for my hands, feet, knees, ankles, and elbows, and it helped everything blend seamlessly. Another huge plus—it smells really good, doesn’t need to be washed off, and didn’t transfer onto my clothes at all. I got so many compliments on my glow! My only complaint is that the glove ripped after my second use and now has a hole, which is disappointing because I really loved the dual sides (smooth and microfiber) for getting an even finish. That’s the only reason I gave 4 stars. Overall, I will absolutely be purchasing this again. It gave me confidence and such a pretty, natural tan with very little effort. Also adorable packaging! This is my first self-tanning product and I chose it because it's a clear gel and uses natural DHC. I bought the gel w/ the mit. So, easy, even application - with the mit, you'd have to try really hard to mess it up so that it's uneven or streaky. It dries immediately - didn't have any issues with staining my robe or my couch. Barely any smell. I left it on for 3.5 hours before rinsing off and I'm amazed, I have a really nice, even, natural looking color. No side effects, no weirdness. No orange. Natural DHC is derived from beets & sugar cane and it basically causes a chemical reaction when it interacts w/ the amino acids in your skin, darkening you like a ripe avocado. So this is not a stain or colorant. The one thing to note is that there is variation of instructions on the Amazon product page, the back of the bottle, and the package it comes in. Meaning, you should read them all to get the full picture. Wash & dry your mit per their specific instructions before use. Make sure you are clean and exfoliated. Put moisturizer on elbows, knees and heels. On Amazon it says that if you use more gel, you get darker (that's the only place I found that info). But yeah - this stuff is amazing and worth trying.

Took 3 days but color finally came thru looks very natural

Hi! I purchased this product to get a quick, noticeable tan and to avoid long hours of needless sun or UV rays exposure and the expense of tanning sessions. This was my FIRST experience with a self-tanning product of any kind (e.g., lotions, gels, mousses, serums, etc.). Overall, the glow this tanning gel gives you is AMAZING. As a clear gel, you probably wouldn't anticipate the results this self-tanner provides. Ultimately, the product will bronze your skin, but it will also leave a faint orangey undertone. Importantly, both a downside and an upside of this product IS that the gel is clear. So, although it is transfer-resistant, there is no guide to show where you have and have not applied the product. Below are longer explanations related to the product's moisturization, scent, and use. When first applied, the product's scent is coconut-like and pleasant. However, an hour after the application, the dried gel smelled odd. Unfortunately, the smell does not disappear. Instead, it clings to you. I could smell it on my skin and asked a friend whether or not they could detect the odor. Admittedly, my friend pressed their nose almost directly against my skin, but they could also smell it. Although scents rarely bother me, eventually, the product began to smell undeniably unpleasant. At last, I showered and scrubbed myself twice, but the smell lingers. If you are sensitive to smells or odors, reconsider purchasing and using this product. Fortunately, the product did not irritate my skin. Although the product claims to "give you the juiciest, moisturized glow," I did not find it moisturizing. But the gel did NOT dry out my skin either. Admittedly, I did not purchase this product for its supposed moisturizing benefits. Ultimately, its lack of moisturization does not upset me. Indeed, other customers might have thought it to be moisturizing. Overall, there are several points I want to address. First, I want to emphasize the "rinse-free" label. The product states that it is a "rinse-free" tan gel, and IT IS. However, I experienced some confusion during my first application. I purchased a bundle that included the tanning gel and an application mitt. The two items arrived together in a plastic package that directs you to rinse off the gel after setting it for several hours. During my first application, I only applied the gel to my legs. Eventually, I rinsed off (i.e., without using soap) and dried off with a towel. I discovered large, discolored smears where I had wiped the gel off my legs. Although the gel was dry, it did not react well after rinsing. Overall, IF you purchase the tanning gel and mitt bundle, please DO NOT RINSE ALTHOUGH THE BUNDLE BAG INSTRUCTS YOU. The Glow Your Own Way bottle states that it is rinse-free. After my second application on my upper body, I wore the gel for twenty-four hours before showering. So, how did the tan react to a complete shower (i.e., with soap)? It reacted well! My skin has a moderate bronze tone. Several of the uneven dark patches disappeared. Ultimately, I cannot guarantee the longevity of this tan. But I predict it will last three to four more showers. The second point I want to address is the non-transfer guarantee. I found the "transfer-resistant" claim to be TRUE. Since the gel is clear, immediate transfers will not happen. However, I recommend waiting about thirty minutes until the gel absorbs before lying or sitting on furniture. I did not test that hypothesis; it is merely precautionary advice. My clothes did not stain. However, I did rest my forearms against my thighs several times, and the gel did transfer to my skin while it was tacky. The last point I want to mention is the method of application. Although the bottle encourages you to, I did not use my bare hands to apply the product. (Considering how it stained my skin in several spots, I do NOT suggest using your bare hands). Instead, during the first application, I used a rubber glove. If you use a rubber glove, you will not waste as much product since the gel does not absorb into the mitt. However, you will NOT need to dispense as much product onto your rubber glove. If you use a tanning mitt, you will use more product as it absorbs into the fabric. However, as a first-time self-tanner, I found the application easier with a mitt than a rubber glove. I believe I applied the gel more evenly with the mitt. Therefore, I recommend using an applicator mitt with this product.

Love this stuff! My skin feels so hydrated when I use the gel. Very natural tan that lasts about 3-4 days and fades naturally with no streaking. I don’t find the eraser necessary for a good tan or getting rid of it, but I really do love using it when I need a good exfoliating. It’s about like a salt scrub. The glove is a must. 10/10

This product works pretty well until the first wash in my experience. I'm very pale and wanted just a little color for the summer so I gave this several tries over the last few months. Here's what I found. Pros: •Very easy to apply (highly recommend the mitt) •Dries fast and isn't as uncomfortable to apply as lotion •The color did look very nice on my pale skin and gave me a huge confidence boost (except for the face, I had to buy the shade lighter to not look orange but that worked perfect.) •Will be pretty even the first day/two •The bottle/pump is nice (and just looks cute) and will last several tanning sessions. Cons: •I could never get it to look right on my hands/feet. I tried several times w/ and w/o moisturizers. It got very dark around the edges of my feet and between toes even with exfoliation. •The tan seems to wash off the shins really quick and it's almost like it slides down and makes my ankles darker instead? •It does START off smelling really nice but it quickly turns into a weird smell once mixed with body chemistry. Not terrible except for maybe in armpits/where you sweat. I stopped doing armpits to avoid that smell. Small complaints: •I really wish it lasted a little longer but it only lasted a couple days on a beach vacation when I needed it most. •The mitt they included was kind of cheap and got a small tear somewhere in the lining almost immediately and now it gets wet inside too which isn't ideal. Overall it is easy to use and my preferred way to get a little color right now, but with the imperfections and short tan life I don't bother with using it except for on rare occasions now.

very subtle and natural results. trust me i’m really pale in real life. got it this past June for a wedding. my daughter was getting married and i wanted to have a sun kissed skin. this product is great, i only applied it once with the cool velvety glove provided. no streaks, no mess, no offensive fragrance. I’m in love with this self tanner. thank you for helping me out with not looking like a ghost that day 👻 edit this glove provided used to come in a hot pink and orange color for those of you wondering and commenting that the glove looks different in the updated amazon pic. see attached photo

Super et laisse zéro trace !

I did it for the first time yesterday and kept in on for 6-7 hours before showering and till the next day my skin is tanned and shiny. I love it I bought another and my first bottle is still full!
