I've had this umbrella for a few weeks now as a replacement to another umbrella - also bought on Amazon - that was unceremoniously stolen. I've only had a need for it a few times so it hasn't been extensively tested, but thus far I'm extremely happy with the purchase. This thing is HUGE (I went for the 68" version), which I consider to be a plus primarily but which some people might see as a downside, primarily due to its reduced portability. Definitely worth the cost in my opinion, though with umbrellas their true "value" usually becomes more apparent as they get used more and more, and this one just hasn't had the opportunity to be used enough yet.A couple of comments:- As I mentioned, this thing is HUGE. You can easily fit two people under this umbrella with plenty of space to spare. The downside is that, even when folded up, the umbrella is quite large and can function well as a walking stick of sorts (just to get a sense of the size). This is definitely not the kind of umbrella that is easily going to fit into a bag. The included carrying case with a shoulder strap makes it a bit easier to carry around, but for those looking for something that you can easily throw into a bag, this definitely isn't the umbrella for you.- Construction appears to be solid overall, but often the durability of an umbrella doesn't become clear until it's been put through its paces. The release button works well with smooth deployment of the umbrella, and it survived fairly strong winds without caving or being flipped out. I'm sure the venting helps with the latter. It's quite lightweight which makes me somewhat worried about durability, but we'll see. The handle feels like it has an artificial rubber-like coating which I wish was a bit "mushier" for lack of a better word - it doesn't have the most grip, particularly when your hands are wet. Not a deal-breaker, but perhaps a potential point of improvement for the next model.- In addition to the handle issue mentioned above, my biggest complaint is that the cover is, in my opinion, a bit too small. It worked well when the umbrella initially shipped (and was very tightly wrapped), but even when trying to wrap it tightly using the included velcro straps, it really requires some work to get back into the cover once you're done using it. It took me a good minute to get it back in once I'm done using it. I tend to just throw the cover into my bag and leave the umbrella uncovered until I know I'm done with it for the day as it's too much of a pain to put it back into the cover. I don't see this as a huge problem - the cover wasn't something I was specifically looking for - but something to be aware of if a functioning cover is important to you.As I mentioned above, this is well worth the cost in my opinion... while you can certainly get cheaper umbrellas, cheaper models inevitably fail, often sooner rather than later. Of course, this umbrella could very well have the same fate - and if I have any issues over the long-term, I'll update this review - but my initial impressions are quite positive. If, like me, you're looking at a huge umbrella, consider this model!

Good size, good quality, just hope it stands up to wind. Haven't had a good storm yet, so time will tell.

I like this umbrella. The only downside is that on its first use, heavy wind blew it inside out. But on the bright side (of it raining) the wind blew it right back to normal. After all of the confusion was over the umbrella functioned normal. Even after multiple uses it worked as if nothing happened and kept me dry!! I definitely recommend, just be cautious of wind direction!!

I brought this umbrella because some days it’s raining when I get the kids from the bus stop. I love how big it is. I was able to have four elementary students (mine and my neighbors kids) walk under it with me, and not get wet! Must have!

Cheap plastic. Not very durable. Only used maybe 15-20 times. Save your money!

Love my umbrella! I keep one at home and one in my car. I will never own an umbrella that does not have a vent to allow sudden wind gusts which will break an umbrella. This one works great in the wind and it is extra wide to provide protection for two people.
