Henckels 5-pc Household Scissor Set

This is an excellent set that provides all the types of scissors a home might need. They are sturdy and of good quality. The floral shears are for household flowers, not garden pruning.

This set is a "must have". I have had several pair of the kitchen shears over the years and love them. They even hold up to my husbands abuse (he uses them as if they were hand tools for the garage). I ordered the set but was not expecting the other scissors to preform as well. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and performance. Now...if I can keep my husband away from them...

The value of this set of scissors is legit. Great price for several pairs of good quality scissors. They are Henckels branded, but made in China. Certainly not the German engineering and craftsmanship I've come to expect from this high end brand. The quality of cut and sharpness is there, but the handles and firmness of the plastic is a lower quality than I expected. The garden shears are especially flimsy and are small even for my wife's hands. All of that said, I'm still happy with the purchase. Having a few pairs of scissors to spread out around the house just makes life easier for us. I'd recommend this set of scissors based on overall value, just prepare yourself for the quality to be a bit lower than your Williams Sonoma typer Henkels purchase.

I have purchased this for a second time. I use it a lot and they do hold up fairly well. I do not have to sharpen them over and over.

I had a set of Hinkle scissors given to me almost 40 years ago when I got married I have never even had them sharpened and they are still good. I’m missing one of the set and one of the scissors someone used to try to do something they shouldn’t have been doing but other than that I can’t say enough about how good they were over the years. Unfortunately, I ordered this new, set thinking the same but as with anything else nothing is made the way it used to be. I guess I’ll know more as years go on.

This is a great set of scissors ! Replacing some we had for the kitchen from a few decades ago. Plus the set comes with some other household scissors and flower shears by one of the best knife makers around. Got a great deal on them too. Dishwasher safe & comes with a lifetime warranty.

Henckels makes really good scissors, and this set of different types of scissors is a really good value for money. Had bought this set because I needed a new pair of kitchen scissors… the kitchen scissors included in this set are strong enough to be used as poultry shears, able to cut through the joints and even the breast and back bones. And at a price comparable to buying it solo from other retailers! So, the other scissors in the set are a very nice bonus!
