Life saver, can’t recommend highly enough
I rarely give 100% praise for items, but THIS, was a game changer for us. We are expert road trippers, & try to be efficient, especially with food, because you never know when you might get stuck, caught out etc …. Well, this happened to us twice on this last trip (more later). This purchase was so we could keep freezer blocks frozen (along with other items) & rotate them out to smaller cool packs we keep in the front seat for immediate cold drinks or snacks. Now, the freezer section is smaller (our preference) than some coolers, the actual cooler part was tight, but worked well. I chose to use only (mostly) square containers for packing foods like cheese, sandwich meats, milk, cream etc…. Even used liquid eggs (I know, not everyone’s choice) in the square box. Plus I decanted things like mayo and mustard into smaller containers (yes some were round ). We had bacon, tortillas, salad stuff ,tomatoes & fruit too. Yes, you have to pack & unpack to get to things, but really, just the convenience of having this cooler , the extra effort was with it. The freezer was exceptional! I get chills (no pun intended) thinking about it! We had extra ice blocks, frozen veggies, frozen yoghurt, and a couple of microwave dinners (just in case), we had to take cardboard outer boxes off to pack , plus even extra ice cubes if needed…..all I can say is WOW!!!!!! We had it running in the car obviously, & then when we stayed in our motel/hotel for the night, we’d just plug it in there. So, our two incidents on this trip… firstly, my hubby took a bad fall so we ended up in an ER in Canada, & we were checked out of the motel…so the cooler was plugged into the car, being cautious I unplugged it (didn’t want battery issues)…the cooler spent several hours, almost 5 I think unplugged, and everything was still frozen & cold! I was amazed … Our second incident was related to having mechanical issues and we needed to rent another vehicle & tow ours home. (The vehicle we rented had not enough space for the cooler) so we left it in our car, unplugged for 5 hours the first day (& yes stuff was still cold & frozen by check in at the next stop); & on days 2 & 3 where our travel times were prolonged due to weather etc things were still fine at about 8 hrs!!!!!!!!! still frozen & still cold. Would I recommend this item? YES YES YES YES Now, biggest cons to this item (but certainly not in a way that we’d never use this again): 1: The unit is heavy (obviously) when packed….definitely a 2 person lift (or see below) 2: Wheels would REALLY help ( luckily we had a small collapsible hand cart already) 3: Handles are sturdy but dangerous…they’re very robust and if you don’t let go just right they trap/pinch fingers …. 4: PLEASE, an extra long folding handle & wheels would make this PERFECT.

elimination of carrying around a cooler and getting ice
I'm a truck driver and this unit works very well, it's quiet, keeps things cold for a good length of time and I eliminated the problem of always having to fill a cooler and the waste of time getting ice

Great cooler for family vacations/trips
Great first experience with this cooler. We purchased this cooler for an 8 day trip to the Black Hills/Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, and the Rockies. We had items that needed to keep cold but don’t do well in an iced cooler (jelly, fruit, sandwich meat, etc.). We kept the cooler plugged in most of the trip. It stayed at the set temperature with almost no fluctuation. We have a newer vehicle so we were able to use the standard house plug (can’t speak for the car plug power source). We did make frequent stops, at times for up to an hour in warm temps - the cooler would hold the colder temp well and cooled back off to the set temp quickly after restarting the vehicle. There are reviews about the handle not being very durable. We took the cooler in and out of the vehicle each day and with the knowledge of the handle durability, we did take handling precautions each time lifting and had no issues. The cooler is also quiet, at least to our expectations. Overall, very pleased with this purchase, at least for the two trips it has been used on so far.

A nice little fridge that works well in Florida weather. It's a bit on the noisy side though
I wanted a small travel fridge for road trips and going to the beach without having to deal with ice. This 26 qt Kohree seems like a good item and just the right size. You can put lots of drinks inside and there still be room for food. You don't have to worry about ice eating up storage space or making food all mushy. This fridge easily keeps drinks at 34-36 degrees F in even the hottest Florida weather. Only gripe is the fan/compressor is much louder than I think it should be. I was considering sending it back for another one to see if maybe mine was defective. But I got wrapped up in other things and missed my return window. A nice accessory is a portable power station like the Bluetti EB3A 300 watt model. You can run this fridge off one of those small power stations for about a full day without worrying about killing your car battery when the engine is off.

Amazing for work and travel!
I purchased this for using when I work. Having a true duel zone fridge/freezer seemed to be the way to go for me. I keep lunch meat, bread, water, soda, and condiments in the larger fridge side and use the smaller freezer side for stuff I want to microwave while at work. I plugged it in to my cigarette lighter in the back of my company truck, set the temps I wanted then added my stuff. After 7 days on the road the unit worked flawlessly. It maintains temperatures pretty constantly. It is nice to get bread out to make a sandwich and it is not soggy or stale! Definitely worth the money! The freezer compartment is very small but I did turn the temp up to 35* later in the week to keep some extra water in for drinks and it adjusted nicely. The unit is very quiet, I hardly ever notice if it is on or not, usually have to look at display to see. This is a two thumbs up purchase!

(Updated after 3, 5, 6 and 18 months) Fantastic for travelers and truckers
As a truckdriver I spent years using a 12v cooler from a truck stop, and never knew what I was missing until getting this unit. It's been running solid since purchase, keeps everything cold (instead of just cool), and it's nice to be able to bring food with me on my travels. I never could trust those coolers to keep my food from spoiling, especially in summer months, but this has been great so far. Highly recommend! Also, for anyone curious, these larger units are slightly larger then the Coleman 40qt koolatron cooler. They're much heavier, also. 3 month update: lowered to 1 star. The plastic handle that keeps the lid closed has snapped off. My first instinct was to contact the company to see about a replacement handle, however several days now I haven't been able to access their website to even contact them. It will remain at 1 star until it's resolved. 5 month update: after my 1 star edit, they reached out to me and provided me with a replacement part, shipped direct from the manufacturer. I have received the handle and installed it, and it's working perfectly. I want to note I did still use the cooler without the handle, and it performed well without being 'locked' shut, better than my initial assumption. I have raised it back to 4 stars, as the issue with their website and not being able to contact them if there's an issue is still, well, an issue. However I feel they made the situation right, the cooler is still working fantastic, and I would have no issues ordering again, or recommending it to someone. 6 month update, the last update: the cooler has broken again, this time a screw for the lid hinge. I am not overly hard on the cooler, but having it break twice within the first 6 months, it's clear this cooler will not be a long term solution for me. Even if they ship me a new lid in the next 2 months, it's just a matter of "what's next". I can no longer recommend this product. 18 month update: after a year and a half of owning this, I'm finally removing it from my truck. It's worked well since I've had all the issues, and now both lid hinges have broken, and the compressor is getting quite loud. I'm honestly surprised it last this long given the early issues I had, but I still can't recommend this because of those issues.

The best cooler I’ve ever had. I’ve used for food and drinks. Mostly drinks. Best decision I ever made.

Definitely more convenient and cheaper than buying ice
It states that it holds 53qt. To be honest, the inside looks smaller than my cooler that is 48qt. Anyway, I left it sit flat for 12 hours since driver had it on the side. I plugged it in and it powered right up. Display is easy and straight forward. Set the small section at 20 and the larger at 36. In about 30 minutes, temp dropped from 72 in both to the set temp. Now the display did show lower by only a couple of degrees however; you need to allow for a little of fluctuation just like your heat/ac thermostat in your house. It has sunken handles but, also comes with spring loaded, larger handles. Basket in large section has a divider and is a nice feature for quicker loading and unloading. There is also an LED light in the larger section, nothing in smaller. It does have a lockout feature to keep little hands from messing with settings. It comes with a T-handle Allen wrench, two extra rubber feet, a/c and d/c power cords. This was almost half the price of others and even with the Amazon extended warranty, still a lot cheaper. Will really test it out over the weekend but, I am pleased with this for now.
