Why choose KINGSOLAR Solar Panel? ☀ Unique light-trapping surface grabs more power ☀ Unique ETFE material, Make KINGSOLAR solar panel even better ☀ Solid copper fondation adds massive strength ☀ Ultra pure silicon delivers optimal power conversion  Specifications  *Peak-power: 100W  *VPM(V):18V *Maximum current(A) :5.66A *Maximum system voltage(V): 1000V *Cell type: Sunpower solar cell *Output Interface: MC4 connector *Dimension: 42.1*21.4 inches *Weight: 4.80 Ibs  *Air resistance: 50psf (2400 pascals) Warm Tips: 1. It is not recommended to connect the solar panels in parallel, because it will cause over-current which may damage the product and the battery. 2. It is not recommended to use more than 8 solar panels in series connection. Once the voltage exceeds 40V, an extra controller will be needed to protect  the device being charged. 3. Please handle the solar panel with care and avoid over-bending or bump, otherwise this may result in damage to the product. 4. The plastic film is used to protect the panel, it may fall off during use, but it will not affect the solar panel. Note: If you want to charge for battery or install more pcs of the ETFE semi flexible solar panels, please prepare some conversion cables and controller.

Great panels and customer support for my application.
Two years ago I purchased two Kingsolar 120 watt flexible panels to support the refrigeration system onboard my Tartan 37 sailboat. I stitched Velcro flaps into the bimini and dodger to mount them and spent the next two years in the tropics with trouble free solar power...and ice for my beverages. As a note I used Gensun MMPT controllers that did not supply any kind of power data, but based on simple logs of battery voltage and “seat of the pants” monitoring I did not notice any significant decrease in performance.Recently an opportunity to add a solar array to a much larger sailboat came my way. This time I ordered several 100 watt Kingsolar flexible panels. All tested to design specifications, but there were some cosmetic differences between them. This was ultimately attributed to ordering between manufacturing runs and Kingsolar was quick to resolve the issue. I have worked with overseas manufacturers in the past and would be hard pressed to name one with a better response rate. Once again the issue was only cosmetic, but having a completely matching set was important to the yacht owner. The panels themselves are very lightweight and flexible and the new ETF coating looks very robust. I plan to mount them on a fabric surface again and think they will work well in this configuration, but I would not hesitate to mount them on a curved hard surface like the roof of a van. I would caution against trying to overly twist and bend them or to mount them across a bar without support as I think repeated bending might degrade them, but there is always the option of attaching another layer of flexible plastic under them for additional support if needed. The MC4 connectors seem adequate for most conditions and in the past I had zero issues in a marine environment. I did have them covered by a canvas sleeve, however, and plan to do so again. There is plenty of wire if you desire to remove them and replace them with something else. The junction boxes are mounted on the upper surface and are well glued and apparently screwed through the panel into a backing plate. Quite sufficient.I have tested voltage and amperage on seven panels and have found them to be to the listed specifications. I’ll be honest - at this price point I expected some degree of variation, but was happily surprised at the uniformity. I plan to use Victron charge controllers with software to log and map power output over time so will be able to report on efficiency of the system at a future date this summer. There are much more expensive options out there for solar panels with varying degrees of robustness and efficiency, but I have found the cost to benefit ratio of these Kingsolar panels to be very good. Having a manufacturer that responds to issues is also invaluable.

Solar panel. Nice for camping
This is our first time ever purchased any type of a solar type panel so we were all excited to get it to use for camping and to keep our cell phones charged and other items. I do want to note that you’re only getting a solar panel itself you will need to buy additional adapters and controllers which is very in expensive so make sure that you do read the directions so that you get all the pieces that you need. Once we got everything in we hooked everything up and it works really great it was actually a good project for the family to do with it being a solar panel I can see our family buying more solar panels and working on even bigger projects but it was a nice start This is perfect for camping or other projects. The reason for a four star and out of five stars because it did not list that you need to buy additional items to go with it as far as the adapter and the controller so I just wanted to make sure that everyone is aware that again that’s the only reason I give it a four star

Good Quality and they last
Installed 10 on my yacht 2 months ago. 10-15% better kWh harvest than my Windy Nation panels and the textured finish looks great. Good packaging - all worked perfectly. The wiring is tinned and the grommets are good quality stainless steel. For the price, probably can't be beat.Update: Now over a year since installation. Still working at the same output as new and no degradation in appearance - they still look like new. Great buy.

Flawed out of box, but light
After receiving the panels, I was impressed with the weight of them. I currently own 2 180 watt panels for my RV that weigh quite a bit more.I unboxed them on top of the rv and slid them into place and mounted them putting the dreaded holes into the roof. This install was at dusk to avoid the heat and glare. The next morning I tested the panels at the controller and was irritated with the amount of power. So I went back up to inspect and noticed that one of the panels had zero power, the other had over 18v (good). Both panels were already warping in the sun. The panel with the power had a cracked cell with a crack on the soft coating on top (which will collect moisture). The zero power panel had delamination already occurring. So these panels are not good quality but if you need some flexibilty due to curvature but not for long term, them maybe.

Great product for camping and outdoors.
We purchased this to be able to use with our pop up camper. The solar panel is flexible ut it comes in a very large box so that it's delivered upright. FYI for receiving purposes so you know in case you need it placed in area for delivery. This is only the solar panel itself. You will need to buy an adapter/controller and link it to battery for storing the energy...so unless you have that on hand this will not be a plug and go item. My husband states the other parts needed are relatively cheap but we I'll be able to set up for summer with no issues. It shipped really fast and we can't wait to use it for camping. This will save us from getting electrical sites when it's more expensive!

Good solar panel
I received the solar panel yesterday, the item had a bent on the lower right corner. We hooked up the solar panel to our charge controller and realized the item does not produce any voltage at all. The item was sent defective.Update:Kingsolar was able to send a replacement item. The second solar panel works great. It's good to know that this company stand behind it's product. I may purchase a second solar panel from them in the next few months. I will wait and see how this solar panel keeps performing.
