Just like the ones my Dr. has!
These are high quality, heavy duty. They resonate for a long time. The weighted 128 and 256 forks really vibrate throughout my body. The 512 unweighted vibrates for about 60 seconds! The velvet drawstring bag is nice for storage. The rubber mallet is perfect for striking them. I recommend these to anyone.

Healing Vibes – Tuning Forks for Healing Set (128HZ+)
Solid, well-made tuning forks that really do help with relaxation and focus. The tones are clear and calming, and I love using them for meditation. Great set for beginners or anyone into sound healing.

Great Tuning Forks, But No Manual
I've heard of the healing power of tuning forks, but never really gave it much thought until an opportunity came allowing me to try them out for myself. This beginner's kit comes with a rubber mallet, 2 weighted tuning forks (256khz and 128khz), and one unweighted 512khz tuning fork as well as a velvety carrying bag with separate compartments. They also throw in a small Allen key for tuning, if needed. These are aluminum (which is what you want if you're in the market for tuning forks) The weighted forks act with more of a vibrational effect while the unweighted fork emits noticeable sound. I've tried them out and I've noticed that these forks seem to have an alleviating effect on inflammation. I'm not sure if this is placebo or if I'm really experiencing a bit of relief as a result of using these tuning forks. The one thing that made me knock of one star was the fact that the seller advertised that there would be a guide (you'd think there would be one), but there was no such thing - not even a link to an online one. Not that I can't just search for leaning materials online, but that should be an option in addition to included materials, not a necessity in absence of them. At any rate, these forks are well-made, well packaged, and a great beginner's set for people like me, who are just learning, but if you're looking to the seller to tell you how to use them, I'm afraid you'll have to look elsewhere!

Great forks for using on the body.
As a massage therapist and body worker who works with sound and acoustics for healing, it's great to have a device that you can actually place on specific places on the body. It provides a very gentle method of providing relaxing sonic vibrations and overtones that help to stimulate cellular healing. It's a little more versatile than Tibetan bowls because you can place them anywhere on the body and they are easy to use.

Not powerful enough to have a significant effect
Quality is fine, but I don't think the 128 or 256 Hz forks are large/powerful enough to have any real physiological effect - none that I've noticed, anyway. Hearing the 512 Hz fork does seem to have a very mildly calming effect.

Interesting items
Not sure what to think about these yet. It does give a interesting sensation but I don't know if it's done any good or not. Certainly doesn't hurt
